⏵ October State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! Welcome to the end of October! We hope you enjoy the Halloweeny mingle log that is going up alongside this post. 🎃 As a heads up: headmod will take a bit of a break through November due to life getting busy elsewhere! However, the mission, TDM, and everything else will go up as scheduled. Mod responses may be a little slower (as they have been through October also due to how unexpectedly busy it's been, our bad!) but outside of that, everything should still be running as usual! November is a mission month, but it will be a little more light-hearted in comparison to the previous mission! Using the feedback we received on our last post, we will be condensing the amount of time missions run down to one to two weeks, but will keep our schedule otherwise the same as it has been. This should, hopefully, give players time to complete their mission threads while also leaving plenty of space for characters to get into shenanigans around Etraya itself. If you have any questions, please put them under the mod queries top-level below. Additionally, don't forget your Activity! YES PLEASE!!! she will go crazy being called strange shapes girl what do you mean yall cant see the world in shapes here either!?!?

but john would have pieces about harold in his brackets and i was so interested in the type of relationship they had!! i was super invested. she's really a nerd in math, lacks on the science side but maybe her number seeing and the dimension of things can help harold in some way. also please teach her how to work some technology, she lacks in that department and she couldn't get an ibm pc to work

Harold is far too polite to call her that out loud, don't worry. She's going to be stuck with Ms. 37 for eternity. LOL

They are super not normal about each other (affectionate). Harold is pretty strictly comp sci based with some mechanics / engineering on the side, but that does mean he is great at math. He goes undercover as a math teacher more than once! And absolutely able to help with computer haha.

Perhaps she could run into him on the mingle reciting the first couple hundred digits of pi as a trick to get a reward!! I need to top level at some point but that could be in there!

ok i was picking up what was being put down so i was like HM, but it makes sense thank you for clarifying. good, 37 also teaches people at apeiron, but that doesn't mean they stay for her lesson since it's a mixture of math and philosophy, but it gets the job done!! please teach her the secrets from stopping people from running away when she wants to yap about math.

LOL that is legitimately so funny, I am so delighted to hear that they are that obvious even from one thread.

Harold would try not to get caught up in her weird perspective, but he actually loves puzzles and can't help himself so I can already foresee him getting wrapped up in trying to fully understand her. Please teach him the math/philosophy, he might get bored here otherwise.

it really was, i told my friend that there is something going on with john and harold and now im laughing bc i didn't expect to be right. john did good laying the crumbs

wait until he has to decipher what she says, oh he's an imaginary number and other people are irrational and she wants to know if he is philosophical enough to understand that this world is just a shadow she has a lot going on, she's deep into plato's allegory of the cave so she will put him on peak among other things and she will teach him about her customs to help him leave the wheel of rebirth to have another chance at life

i love it because she even comments she likes pi because it can be used a lot in math so it's like catnip to her, an imginary number that knows the success that is pi? yeah, you got her attention

Harold has a whole canon monologue about how cool he thinks pi is, so that's perfect, LOL. I am so curious about her number-based personality typing and Harold will be, too!! I caught the Plato's cave allegory, this is going to be fun.
