⏵ October State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! Welcome to the end of October! We hope you enjoy the Halloweeny mingle log that is going up alongside this post. 🎃 As a heads up: headmod will take a bit of a break through November due to life getting busy elsewhere! However, the mission, TDM, and everything else will go up as scheduled. Mod responses may be a little slower (as they have been through October also due to how unexpectedly busy it's been, our bad!) but outside of that, everything should still be running as usual! November is a mission month, but it will be a little more light-hearted in comparison to the previous mission! Using the feedback we received on our last post, we will be condensing the amount of time missions run down to one to two weeks, but will keep our schedule otherwise the same as it has been. This should, hopefully, give players time to complete their mission threads while also leaving plenty of space for characters to get into shenanigans around Etraya itself. If you have any questions, please put them under the mod queries top-level below. Additionally, don't forget your Activity! Hi! I'm Scout and I've just got this guy - Linhardt von Hevring.

Who would seem to have quite a bit in common with 6! They're both introverted knowledge guys from leadership/noble backgrounds forced into doing things and bureaucracy.Though this incarnation of Lin is by far the most active: Guilt and personal affection can sometimes get him to do things. Still, his primary hobbies are research and napping.

He wants to see you turn into a bird. Do it.

We can call that his Halloween Trick perhaps, easy mode.

Yes! Exactly! I was going to make a quip about that type of introvert friendship, actually. The difficulty being that they like and respect each other so much they never talk. Big parallel play/reading in the same room vibes.

Even if it's easy mode, Linhardt thinks it's impressive and has a lot of questions. Which he's more than happy to ask via written notes if talking in person is too much. Because sometimes it is. And talking is so much easier in text format...

Yesss exactly, you get it!! Luckily 6 can talk at length if he needs to, but he wouldn't find the suggestion odd or anything - there are plenty of people in Apeiron who "abide by the virtue of silence" apparently.

Anyway!! Full disclosure there's not a lot of canon detail on the deal with udimo in-game yet... but I'm sure we can pull him off the topic quickly enough once we get things rolling perhaps. Should I write you a starter for this log?

One on one conversations are okay, but any more than that becomes exhausting very quickly. Lin always appreciates people that don't try to 'fix' his introversion and research oriented nature.
