⏵ March State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello and welcome to Etraya! We were very excited to see all the players interested in our new game when we put up our interest check, and are glad to have you guys join us! Thank you for applying to join Etraya and giving our game a chance. At this point, we have 35 Characters who have applied in for our first round. Given that applications do not close until 3PM PST today, there is still time to get in any last-minute applications! As a heads up, we have updated our FAQ to reflect that mod posts, including mission posts and OOC intros, will be posted at or before 3PM PST on the day they are meant to go up. We don't want to give ourselves a strict time, given we appreciate having the flexibility to make last-minute changes as needed to suit our player base, but do promise we will get them up by 3PM PST. We'll be updating our LOCATIONS page over the next week with additional places based on those who applied and were accepted; if there's any location you would like to see in particular, please feel free to use the provided form so we can get it added! Additionally, please check out our CALENDAR noting the dates of the upcoming mission and Activity Check due dates. For new characters, activity is simply responding to the ACTIVITY CHECK page using the formatting provided. ABOUT YOU: pst / slow tagger. i'm busy throughout the workweek, but pretty much nonexistent mondays to wednesdays. currently, i'm big on jjk, ffvii, genshin, hsr and ocs, but i have a sprinkling of canons in comics, movies/tv shows and other games/animanga.

CHARACTER: vincent valentine. specifically, he's from dirge of cerberus, which takes place a year after advent children.
CHARACTER INFO: he is a physically 27 year old who's chronologically 60 because he has caught the immortality bug. he also has like four monsters crammed inside of him, so he has to be 24/7 emotionally constipated or else they'll wreck havoc. if anyone knows how he can get a refund for lit all of it, then he'll be happy to pay in blood, brooding and/or well-earned lectures. after having already helped stop one world-ending catastrophe, vinnie isn't exactly thrilled that he has been swept up into another, but like, what can you do? he isn't really here to make friends, unless you're from his world and even then he isn't really here to make friends. he's open to allies though. at the end of the day, the only thing he cares about is saving gaia, so y'know, not-vamp on a mission.
CR NOTES: ota / he won't be the easiest guy around to befriend, but pls friendship no jutsu the heck out of him anyway.
PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: i love spoopy, i love mystery, i love action, i love awkward teambonding but i also love fun silly things. honestly, i just want to yeet this young old man into a lot of weird and/or dangerous situations, so he can learn how to socialize better in a comfortable environment (because nothing is more comforting for him than chaos).

someday soon i'm going to regain darkstar and i cannot wait for the inevitable vincent/tseng/darkstar entourage following rufus around while all glaring at each other in various capacities

i'm actually very excited about the timeline discrepancy aspect though, rufus is currently from the end of remake and i expect to update him to rebirth eventually so vincent having information about what all he did in the advent children timeline will end up being highly relevant to his interests!!
