⏵ March State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello and welcome to Etraya! We were very excited to see all the players interested in our new game when we put up our interest check, and are glad to have you guys join us! Thank you for applying to join Etraya and giving our game a chance. At this point, we have 35 Characters who have applied in for our first round. Given that applications do not close until 3PM PST today, there is still time to get in any last-minute applications! As a heads up, we have updated our FAQ to reflect that mod posts, including mission posts and OOC intros, will be posted at or before 3PM PST on the day they are meant to go up. We don't want to give ourselves a strict time, given we appreciate having the flexibility to make last-minute changes as needed to suit our player base, but do promise we will get them up by 3PM PST. We'll be updating our LOCATIONS page over the next week with additional places based on those who applied and were accepted; if there's any location you would like to see in particular, please feel free to use the provided form so we can get it added! Additionally, please check out our CALENDAR noting the dates of the upcoming mission and Activity Check due dates. For new characters, activity is simply responding to the ACTIVITY CHECK page using the formatting provided. Given the age discrepancy I would actually laugh really hard if Tim somehow came away with the idea that Rufus is some sort of alternate dimension blond and vaguely villainous Bruce Wayne and like, was trying to investigate him to figure out what on earth his deal is

I suppose the question is, would there be something sufficiently Batty enough for Tim to think it's an alt-Bruce? After Dark Knights: Metal/Death Metal, Tim's seen a number of evil alt-Bruces and they're usually pretty on theme. The Robin King, the Batman Who Laughs, etc.

Would he meet Bruce first and introduce himself as a Bruce to Tim?

HMM. Probably not sufficiently Bat-themed but possibly enough to squint at a little? He's definitely got the "billionaire socialite who's mysteriously a lot better at combat than any trust fund kid has the right to be" thing going on, but if Tim's looking for specific motifs then it's likely going to fall short. :|a

though admittedly now i'm sitting here like "Brufus" and i can't fucking unsee it so one way or another i've laughed myself sick tonight and that's a win either way

I mean, billionaire socialite who's better at combat than he should be could be Lex Luthor, or Ted Kord... heck, even Tim is kinda adjacent to that. He'd certainly recognize what was going on.
