Hello, Etrayans!

As previously mentioned, we have changed our player cap to ten new players per application round. This will be in effect until we hit under 60 players. With May's round of applications, we're currently at 78 players.

Given our new player limitations, we will be moving our TDMs to every three months. Our next TDM will go up on June 13th, and the one after that will go up on September 19th. To make sure players can keep TDM threads as game canon, we're going to be changing our TDM formatting a little! This will become more clear when our next TDM goes live.

Mingle logs will continue going up during months when we do not have a TDM. These will be simplistic logs with a couple of prompts to play with.

As a friendly reminder - Etraya's network does not have private filters! If it's posted on the network, it's accessible to everyone. The exception to this are threads happening in character inboxes.

There is a player plot in progress to develop something for player characters, but as it has not been released yet, it's still inaccessible.

We'll be updating our LOCATIONS page over the next week with additional places based on those who applied and were accepted; if there are any locations you would like to see in particular, please feel free to use the provided form so we can get it added! Additionally, please check out our CALENDAR noting the dates of the upcoming mission and Activity Check due dates. For new characters, activity is simply responding to the ACTIVITY CHECK page using the formatting provided.

ABOUT YOU: work from home office drone. some series im into right now are succession, chainsaw man, jujutsu kaisen, disco elysium, visual novels (umineko, zero escape, ai somnium files, witch on the holy night etc). my tag style is a little all over the place but i generally try to tag back every 1-3 days.

CHARACTER: Eobard Thawne from the CW Flash/Legends of Tomorrow.

CHARACTER INFO: he's the guy from the IT WAS ME BARRY meme who just ruins one person's life for fun and spite because he decided to make holding a singular grudge his entire personality. very well adjusted individual, thinks he is always right even when he does bad things, don't be his friend.

CR NOTES: ok but seriously i've apped accepting 95% of my CR will likely be negative so that's what you want then i can provide it. eobard CAN be normal when your name isn't barry allen, but he's a deeply narcissistic dude who never learns his lesson and thinks he's the smarter version of elon musk.

im not going to say positive cr is impossible but even other villains he works with hate his ass because he's so arrogant. if you hate barry allen then he can be president of the fan club.

p.s. for other dc comic people, he will likely know who your character is by reputation though not their secret identity. this is the cosmic power of cheating (i.e. being a time traveler from the 25th century)

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: horror, mystery, wacky silver-age comic shenanigans, memshare, plots where eobard can get his ass kicked like he deserves but maybe some where he can play hero for once.

but i am stoked to see him in game and see what shenanigans he gets into! also stoked to see.. how he and damian end up getting along

on paper he is smarter. in practice, he got his ego bruised once and dedicated his life to being a hater.

but yes, im so curious how it'll shake out since he doesn't have a high opinion of the bat-people as a baseline lol

it's fine, damian will trash-talk 85% of them. look at them, they're all dumb, have you seen red robin's face or heard his dumb moniker.

until it goes beyond trash-talking in which case he will end you, thawne. he doesn't know how yet but he'll get a plan, he'll craft together something to catch a speedster then mock him through the walls.

please humble him at some point, he'll be so fired up about it. he thinks he's invincible unless barry is involved so he needs to be taken down several pegs.

i will add make sure thawne gets owned by a four and a half foot tall teenager to my tdl
