⏵ May State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! As previously mentioned, we have changed our player cap to ten new players per application round. This will be in effect until we hit under 60 players. With May's round of applications, we're currently at 78 players. Given our new player limitations, we will be moving our TDMs to every three months. Our next TDM will go up on June 13th, and the one after that will go up on September 19th. To make sure players can keep TDM threads as game canon, we're going to be changing our TDM formatting a little! This will become more clear when our next TDM goes live. Mingle logs will continue going up during months when we do not have a TDM. These will be simplistic logs with a couple of prompts to play with. As a friendly reminder - Etraya's network does not have private filters! If it's posted on the network, it's accessible to everyone. The exception to this are threads happening in character inboxes. There is a player plot in progress to develop something for player characters, but as it has not been released yet, it's still inaccessible. We'll be updating our LOCATIONS page over the next week with additional places based on those who applied and were accepted; if there are any locations you would like to see in particular, please feel free to use the provided form so we can get it added! Additionally, please check out our CALENDAR noting the dates of the upcoming mission and Activity Check due dates. ABOUT YOU: Hello! In the 3d world I work as an ekg tech which means I tend to work very long hours, but in my spare time I am... probably napping, let's be real. Fandoms! Hmmm. Primary ones at the moment are AITSF, FFXIV, and Drakenier, though I have various other ones too; I like a lot of bibeo gaem stuff, though I only occasionally plurk about it. As for rp! I tend to be a concise writer who boomerrangs, so I like to tag quick. I definitely do not mind receiving longer tags or even playing off those who are slower, I just suck at being verbose. I will happily thread and plot with anyone who's willing to play with me!

Okay but seriously, Mizuki won't be thrilled to find out the fate of her world rests on her shoulders, 'cause like, really? Her of all people? Buuut she kind of likes home, so... It's a lot of pressure, but she'll try taking it on her own.
Mizuki herself is a kid from modern day Tokyo (with slightly more advanced tech than what exists in reality) and also comes from a murder mystery story, sooo... she's definitely seen some stuff. Despite it all she handles it like a champ (and by that I mean she compartmentilizes like hell, but details) and is usually pretty ready to leap into the fray when it matters. Otherwise, she's a preteen with the sassy and bratty attitude to back it up, but for the most part, she's friendly.
CR NOTES: Obligatory unhelpful "everything" comment but like... Honestly, throw anything and everything at me, let's see what sticks! More specifically, however:
- FRIENDS, obviously, no matter the age. Anyone she can vibe and hang out with is bueno.
- A reliable adult figure....... Not because she needs a babysitter so much as Mizuki is someone who wants the emotional support of an older, wiser(?) person to trust. This is likely more of a longterm goal but. Y'know, throwing it out there!
- Roomies, anyone? I just think it'd be cute and also it's fun for facilitating cr, so if you got room for an extra body, hit me up.
- Ummm idk other than that I'm just gonna tag as many characters as I can and see what happens from there, but I'm not opposed to plotting things out.
PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Rubs my little hands... It's hard to narrow it down because I love digging into the nitty gritty of plots! Mysteries? Hell yes. Clues dropped around to investigate? Hellll yes. Exploration! Above all else I love the element of surprise in roleplay, so having the unexpected happen on me without any preplanning is one of my favorite things when it happens. ABOVE ALL ELSE... I just love having things to really dig into when I thread and seeing what a game setting has to offer. Perhaps once I get a better feel for the setting I'll have more specific ideas, but while starting off I'll for sure take any bone thrown my way.

I did stop reading at NT10 though, so anything after that is a mystery to me.

Ohhh, okay so you know how NT9-10 were peak? Yeah, the arc right after is absolute dogshit. Just the absolute worst, I can't believe Kamachi wrote such trash (I mean I can BUT). The finale arc of NT is however back to peak and I highly recommend it.

GT is mostly up and down, I think it's pretty terrible with some good spots, I think the general fan reaction is that it's good.

Natsuno here isn't exactly an adult (17) and I'm not sure he can be called wise on account of how ready he is to get himself killed. But he does has a soft spot for younger kids so if you want potential older sibling type CR it could work! He's protective but also knows some kids are perfectly able to handle themselves.
