solmara plotting
Hello, Etrayans! We've had several people reach out to us for plotting with the Solmara reveal, so we wanted to give all of you one space you can use to discuss your plans, and plot with other players! For those who had originally come from Solmara, please feel free to reveal anything that hasn't been brought up on this post! For those who have reached out to the mods regarding Solmara in different spaces, we would like to ask to move all plotting in regards to this other city bubble to this post, to ensure visibility for others participating. Thank you! Etraya Mods |

- How many people and/or bots are inside: There are a couple bots guarding the hospital, mostly to ensure nothing happens to it by the residents around! These bots are extremely advanced, and do not communicate with Solmarans at all. They do also usher Solmarans out to their missions, and try to ensure the barrier around the city remains in tact. Aside from this, they don't do much, and there are maybe half a dozen of them wandering the city total - no one has seen more than six at a time, at least. About half of the Solmarans reside within the walls proper, but they do venture out on occasion.
- City defenses / weaponry: Weaponry is what the Solmarans brought along with them, and mot much else. Many of them have special abilities - such as Beckett who can block telepathic abilities, Alrys' charm ability, etc. Some are tinkerers who build guns/swords/etc out of the scrap they find around. These are what they use as their defenses.
- What Alyrs' charm power looks like or feels like and range: It's difficult to find someone who can describe this. Most will say something akin to what we wrote to Missy here regarding Alrys' being more helpful than anything else. A few might shrug their shoulders at the mention of her and not say anything at all, because those who aren't under her influence know better than to say anything against her. He'll get the same responses close to the city borders as he would inside the city, so Vander can safely assume that the range to her ability includes the entire city bubble.
For Vander, the cost of dying on Solmara is the same as it would be on Etraya. Anyone who dies within Solmara whose body remains in tact enough to be revived would need to be brought back through the portal. If their body is destroyed enough to make bringing it back up not feasible, they would revive on Etraya proper within a week or so and wake up in the hospital under Aurora's care.
If we missed anything you were looking for, let us know! Hope this helps.

Piggybacking off of this, Caitlyn, Dimitri, and Yuri are planning to try to sneak into the city, and maybe from there into the hospital. How feasible would it be for them to:
1. try to skirt around the guard presence around the city via the northeast corner of the walls by the hospital
2. try to break into the city at that circled point on the east wall
3. sneak past the bots and into the hospital
And if they can pull all that off, what might they find in the hospital?

2. People have passed through here before, and it is possible to do again.
3. Again, sneaking does seem like a good option. The guards far outnumber you, and there are the super powered amongst them. But it is possible to get into the hospital.
Inside the hospital it looks totally normal. Maybe a different carpet, or a different framed picture of flowers on the lobby- but it will be eerily identical.
In the hospital there are bots, though fewer— and unlike the Etrayan ones, of course. And it feels very empty. Though it seems normal enough. Seems clean enough. What will they do or look at next in the hospital?

2. Excellent! That's what they'll do then.
3. They'll start by assuming the layout is similar to Etraya's hospital and head to the fourth floor to look for any data they can find on Alrys. And then, since Yuri's been to the subterranean levels in Etraya's hospital and knows what's down there, and they figure there might be similar things in the subterranean levels of Solmara's hospital, they'll want to head downwards as far as they can manage.

They'd start by searching the hospital for anything that could be used as makeshift climbing equipment. They'll mostly be looking for metal that could be used as an anchor, something that spans further than the doors to support their weight on the rope, and something they can bend around it both to keep the doors from closing and to tie their rope to on the trip back up. Yuri would have thought to bring some rope.
Dimitri has the super strength to bend or break things they need bent or broken, and Yuri's resourceful and will help Dimitri look for things. Caitlyn will keep an eye out for anything that looks useful but mostly she'll be watching their backs and keeping an eye out for bots.
If they can find enough things to use as climbing equipment and get into the elevator shaft, they'll start by trying to climb down to floor -4, since that's where the files on the inhabitants are in Etraya, and Dimitri will try using his strength to pry open the doors.
2. Also, would they be able to determine whether the elevator's problem is physical or electronic, so they can pass that information on to the tech folks?
no subject
Unlike Etraya, the files on the inhabitants have been expunged.
2. There will be no damage indicating that there is a physical issue with the mechanisms at a glance. But Dmitri’s strength will come plenty in handy for this. With the doors pried open, there’s only the thousand foot drop into the abyss below. The elevator is magnetic, it seems.
They will be able to get into the 4th floor and decide how to proceed.

1. Is there anything else on the computer that would be usable or interesting, aside from the expunged files?
2. If they searched the other floors (-1 through -3 and then down as far as they could go before the oxygen disappeared), would they find anything notable?
no subject
1. Yes. It looks like there is a communication module on the computer.
2. Each room is like this. Incredibly well maintained. Spotless floors. Clean keyboards.
