Inside this room, everything is incredibly well cared for. It is abandoned, but utterly clean. There is a terminal, nicely bundled wires, and even a chair.

1. Yes. It looks like there is a communication module on the computer.

2. Each room is like this. Incredibly well maintained. Spotless floors. Clean keyboards.

A quick aside regarding the elevator being broken: is there any infication that it's powered but just inoperable?
