⏵ April State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! We’ve had a huge second application round. Our original planned player cap for Raya was about 30 players. As of this post, our count is 67 players, and 72 characters. Our mod team’s excited about how big our little project has become, and we’re so glad to have you guys here! To that extent, we’re going to be raising our player cap to 60 and keeping it there. The number of players we have over this is fine! We’ll just be planning to maintain it at under 60 going forward. Our FAQ notes that we do not have caps on casts, but may implement them if a particular cast grows too large. At this point in time, we have 9 members of the DC batcast. Instead of implementing a cap on the entirety of DC Comics, especially given the variety of casts within it, we're going to implement a temporary cap on Gotham specific DCs. Until this is removed, players are welcome to app others, such as Zatanna, Supergirl, or Hal Jordan, but cannot app Harley Quinn, any of the Robins, Batmen, or associates that generally stay within Gotham. We recognize this line is not clear-cut. If there are any questions, please feel free to direct them here. If we receive any reserves or applications for characters that may be riding the line, we’ll reach out to the player affected. Applications are still open until 3PM PST today, April 26th, for any last-minute app needs. The mod team has been editing other FAQ entries as well! Our What is the city like?, Added Locations, Native Population, Appable Characters, and Cast Caps have been edited for clarity, and to add in a few modifications as listed above. We'll be updating our LOCATIONS page over the next week with additional places based on those who applied and were accepted; if there's any location you would like to see in particular, please feel free to use the provided form so we can get it added! Additionally, please check out our CALENDAR noting the dates of the upcoming mission and Activity Check due dates. For new characters, activity is simply responding to the ACTIVITY CHECK page using the formatting provided. Those who have not completed this by the day AC closes will be removed from the game. Out of curiosity for potential future apps, would a Bat-character who is not Gotham based (and has only met Batman once) still be excluded under this cap?

CHARACTER INFO: well, you know, it just happens, doesn't it? clint recently had to deal with being judged in canon (he was ... better than a mailbox, apparently. look i mentioned comics were a mistake, yes?), so this genuinely is just another day ending in -y. he's not going to be thrilled. he will be a snarky shit about it and everything else. cocky and insecure, it's a look!!
or— circus lad grew up to be an archer who was briefly (very, very fucking briefly) a villain and now he's a good guy who's, like, BEEN THROUGH SOME SHIT recently so it's a little complicated. but he's both really good with and really likes arrows. so it's cool.

CR NOTES: obligatory unhelpful ota. clint's fairly easy to get cr with in a general sense, but he is pretty obnoxious. good guy, just — a bit of a shit. professionally, he's great at what he does (aka shooting arrows, sometimes using swords, sometimes wearing fetish gear), but his personal life is a disaster because he's just a regular dude running around shooting people with arrows and that, like, takes a lot of time and energy.

also, you know. nicieza (or busiek icr who wrote this issue) letting us know clint fucks before fraction let us know clint fucks, just in case we were ever unsure.

ABOUT YOU: Hey hey! I'm in all kinds of fandoms - I think my "forever" fandoms are Tolkien, Evangelion, Crest of the Stars, the Ancillary Justice series... and lately been very into Frieren and Dungeon Meshi. I played FFXIV for a while, but I've kinda fallen off, even if I still appreciate a lot of it.

I'm also, sadly, into Fate/. I bounce around between a lot of different things, though - I enjoy a lot of sci-fi and fantasy stuff and I'm also a big fan of historical fiction (and reading about history in general). One my my hobbies is painting tiny models so I can wargame with them! I tend to be a pretty quick tagger and tag length varies, depending on the thread and the action in it! Looking forward to meeting all of you.

CHARACTER: Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion, specifically at the end of End of Evangelion.

CHARACTER INFO: Asuka is a deeply traumatized child soldier with a inferiority complex and a lot of complicated emotions about emotional intimacy and being close to others. She's a little messed up and is definitely going to be a bit hard to get along with - both because she's a teenager and because she has trouble connecting with others in a constructive way. She's not sure she wants to even save her planet/world, but she figures she might as well make a go of it. She has mixed feelings on making friends, but will probably be lonely if she doesn't find any.

CR NOTES: Hoping for Asuka to find people who are willing to put up with her bullshit long enough for her to sort of come around and realize hey, people are worth sticking with and allowing yourself to be open with people is a good thing! Also willing for her to butt heads and make enemies/rivals and just really dislike one another. Sort of hoping she'll get some healing and start working through her bullshit, but it's a long road. So - looking for friends, rivals, people for vicious hating, and everything in between.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: She's going to be a bit more direct and will be focused on the missions, but she's a smart cookie (even if she's a teenager with an attitude problem) and poking into the greater mysteries sounds like a lot of fun, honestly. So does maybe building a new place for herself in this strange in-between place.

CHARACTER INFO: Adaine is your standard teen elf divination wizard, studying at a high school for adventurers. She has anxiety, anger issues, and probably a fair amount of undiagnosed PTSD. Having saved her world a couple of times now, she won't be too happy to learn that it's under an even bigger threat, and will do her best to stop that from happening.
CR NOTES: Fellow teens! Other magic users! More non-humans! Adaine's not really romance-minded, so while I'm not completely closed off to the idea of a ship, it will be the ssslllooowwweeesssttt of slow burns.

CHARACTER: Fabian Aramais Seacaster from Dimension 20: Fantasy High! Please note that I'm taking him from the latter half of Junior Year. It's unlikely big spoilers will come up from that season's main plot, especially stuff that's not specifically Fabian-centered, but if you're absolutely trying to avoid spoilers, feel free to let me know and I'll keep them entirely away from you!

CHARACTER INFO: Fabian has been his world's last hope along with the rest of his adventuring party pretty much three times already, so.. really, this is just another typical day for him. It doesn't mean he won't do his best, but. You know. He's just got a little bit more experience! A little bit less likely to freak out, maybe! (I say about a boy whose emotions are all over the place at all times.)

He sure is a character though. He's the captain of his high school sports team. He cries at the drop of a hat. He's the son of a legendary pirate. He accidentally shat in front of his entire class. He ended toxic masculinity by dancing. He constantly acts like your average obnoxious Youtuber, but with weird dramatic archaic speech sometimes slipped in. He has a golden neck tattoo that reads "Maximum Legend."

He is somehow, inexpicably, the most popular kid in school.

CR NOTES: I'm excited for any CR, really! Fabian is generally a friendly guy, so as long as the other person is willing to put up with his wild energy levels, it's pretty easy to get to know him. He's very good with other teens and has really got that himbo bro energy going with fellow male teens. And if an adult wants to look out for this boy a little bit.. please do so. Please. You don't know the levels of trouble Fabian gets himself into because he was never properly socialized as a kid.

Fabian might also want to start a sports team here depending on how things unfold, so if anyone is particularly interested in that, I'd love to build some CR that way!

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Honestly, it all sounds so good! If I'd have to choose, I would say that because of the way Fabian is, I'd definitely be interested in some exploration, that's right up his alley! (And mystery solving, but that's more in combination with his friends.. He's not too good at it on his own..) Putting him through some horror stuff is also always great though.

ABOUT YOU: another european with a cat! I'm from Germany, I live with a void cat, I stumble around fandoms like I don't know what consistency is, I never know what to say about me. D&D, Dropout, video games, cat pics, too much binge watching... I consist of about 90% tea, the other 10% is pasta. Oh, and I make fandom icons for RP. Tag speed can vary a lot - if I'm free and we're on at the same time, we can boomerang a bit, but y'know... time zones. CHARACTER: Sam Wilson from the MCU, specifically from post Civil War. At his canon point, he's still locked up nice and tight in a prison for super villain, hasn't become Captain America yet, and so on and so on.
CHARACTER INFO: Sam's just in the BEST headspace. Having recently had to fight half his team, being imprisoned in a supervillain prison without knowing when/if he'll get out... on the upside, he doesn't know yet that he's going to die and other such fun stuff, so... you win some, you lose some? Sam's generally a pretty chill and kind guy. He's personable and likes building community with those around him, even if he's bad at letting people really close and showing his own vulnerabilities. Half his reason to exist is to bully his loved ones, lovingly. He fights hard for the things he believes are good/right, has too much compassion, veers towards self-sacrificial and thrill-seeking (shhhh), and probably gives really good hugs.

CR NOTES: Sam gels easily with other hero types, super or not, and generally people with integrity, and for better or worse, people who could use some compassion and a helping hand. He's pretty companionable with most people as long as they're only the fun kind of dicks, not the unpleasant kind, but he's not a pushover if he gets treated poorly. Starting off, he will definitely front "yes I'm fine, nothing to see here at all, no recent prison violence trauma, what do you mean", and he has a tendency to take care of others instead of himself. With age appropriate people, he likes friendly flirting not necessarily with intent, and with all others banter is always welcome. He's definitely going to want some sparring/training buddy sooner or later. Sam's gonna arrive in prison clothes with no other belongings to his name, much less his gear, so sooner or later he's definitely going to be interested in finding people to help him tinker his wings and other gear together. Man's gotta fly, ok?

CHARACTER: Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl aka Oracle, current to early 110s in Nightwing, which also parallels the same time period in basically Batman, Titans, and Birds of Prey. What can I say? Barbara's a workaholic who doesn't sleep unless her boyfriend makes her a busy girl.

CHARACTER INFO: Barbara is not excited and keeps referring to this whole thing as crazy things (universal cage match, a party, multiversal funhouse fight, a dance) in that lovely way she does. She's not here to kill any specific person, their world, or a whole slew of universes, thanks, no, you can't make, or threaten her into it.

CHARACTER: Sam Carpenter comes from the Scream film franchise, specifically Scream (2022) and Scream VI (2023).

CHARACTER INFO: Sam is the secret daughter of a famous serial killer. Over the years, her father inspired many new copycats, the most recent attempting to frame Sam for their crimes. Fighting back earned her a viral reputation for being unhinged and potentially dangerous. It's not wholly unjustified: for years, Sam has tried to manage hallucinations of her father that give voice to her most violent intrusive thoughts. She struggles with her inherited dark side and dreads finding out what she is capable of.

Needless to say, Sam does not think of herself as the best candidate to advocate for her world. There are people in that world that she loves, so she has to try, but she is not optimistic about her chances. Sam has deep trust issues and heaps of trauma, so she is not quick to make new friends. Arriving with her this round is Tara Carpenter, Sam's younger sister over whom Sam is highly protective. She has absolutely no chill when it comes to Tara. Mess with baby sis at your own risk.

CR NOTES:
- Sam tends to push people away and she can be a little mean. She'll have the best chance of bonding with characters who won't take her behavior personally.
- She is perpetually walking the line between light and dark so I'd love CR with characters who can make her better or worse.
- She will attempt to vet anyone and everyone that talks to Tara.
- Despite her trust issues, Sam also makes terrible romantic decisions and wouldn't rule out friends with benefits.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'm definitely here for the horror elements as well as the inherent conflict of being "chosen" to save her universe, a responsibility that makes Sam want to hurl. Overall I'm excited for anything that will push character development.

CHARACTER INFO: Ororo is a mutant often referred to and canonly worshipped as a goddess with the ability to control the elemental forces of weather. Famously she refers to herself as: "a mutant, a woman, an X-Man, a goddess, a wife, a queen" (lol not those anymore - but she's now also been:) a teacher, a council member of two different mutant nations, a representative of the solar system. "She is all these things and for her, there are no such things as limits."(TLDR she's barbie!) She's A LOT but she'll also try to be a friend <3

she needs Aurora (rude why's her name so similar) and Echo to cite their sources re: this alleged multiversal collapse because tbh sounds fake, this universe doesn't even have a Watcher, Beyonder, or some sort of Celestial heralding it? sounds fake!!

CR NOTES: For Ororo I am looking for nice and chill CR for now, especially since in her canon point (post Judgment Day) she is the furthest thing from chill. maybe she'll eventually wanna curiously get to know what kind of powers everyone here has! ... but also just straight up - I'm trash and love shipping, and I can't play an X-Man without even a little bit of interpersonal drama... so part of me will inevitably look for this in whatever CR she develops here haha. what is the dating pool like here, this remains to be seen!

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
As a short term goal, Ororo is going to explore and map out the world herself, figure out the wildlife, plant life, and climate, and mark points of interest (housing, shops, other buildings) for like... strategic purposes. maybe she'll make a map? make routes for ground travel and air travel (if there are other fliers out here!)

mid term goal is for her to get an X-Mansion, rebrand it so it's Definitely Not Named After Charles, and get the Danger Room running for people who wanna use it! also maybe have Storm tap into helping others learn/figure out how else they can use their powers? teacherly and mentorly things!

Longish term goal re: "why are we here" - listen this isn't Storm's first or even second/third time in a pocket dimension lmao. she may poke around for who's actually behind all this, and what can be done to go home. because she knows this 1000% - there is always a Big Reason for being here and always a way back :)

tagging speed: it depends. I'm happy to try to match whatever, but generally the closest is get to boomeranging is with text-y things.

CHARACTER: I couldn't decide so I have Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird from Marvel Comics and Cassandra Cain aka Batgirl from DC comics.
CHARACTER INFO: Bobbi is honestly just excited that this time she got kidnapped she's not being stuck in a prison for years. Really though she's happy to make friends and cooperate, but she will absolutely do what she needs to do to survive. She spent years surviving in the wilderness and is not afraid to get her hands dirty if something needs to be done. Cass !! Really wants to do good and help. She will absolutely give 110% effort at everything but has a very black and white moral code so she's not going to be stabbing anyone in the back anytime soon. (Everything must be at a reasonable cost to her.)
CR NOTES: All kinds of CR! Bobbi is generally the more outgoing but she will come with snarky jokes at any given time. (She once got married 7 days after meeting the guy.) She's generally one of those people that has a wide social circle but is guarded about actually feelings and emotions so really getting to know her true feelings can take a while. (Just ask her ex-husband who is here.)

Cass is a lot more genuine although quieter she's still a little weird on social skills. (Cass probably will just walk away from most negative CR situations if the situation allows but that doesn't mean that I'm not happy to play them / force her to deal with it)

Wade will be trying to make friends with everyone, but they may be less excited about that prospect since Deadpool is... A LOT. CHARACTER INFO: I'm here with Riz Gukgak, certified Little Guy! He's a goblin adventurer from Aguefort Academy, which is a school geared towards training children in the art of adventuring and heroism largely by training them how to kill things really, really well. Riz here is a Rogue, a licensed Private Investigator, a champion catastrophizer, and overall a very intense (though polite) young man who has a tough time making friends. That's what his business cards are for. He's generally a pretty friendly, excitable little nerd, he loves his mom, he's small enough to be easily carried around in his friends' backpacks, hisses at his enemies, and he has a gun, which is something all sixteen year olds should probably have.

He's saved the world once, is in the middle of saving it a second time, is currently unaware that saving it the third and probable fourth time will be coming up later this year, so he's an old hat at facing down existential terror. That said, he's going to be diving headfirst into the mystery with his trademark paranoia and will be more than happy to rope anyone interested right in there with him. Come down the rabbit hole with him, or maybe just switch out his coffee with decaf because he hasn't slept in three days.

CR NOTES: The boring answer, but: everything!!! I would love for some dumb teen CR, for him to be a general menace to the adults, to find others willing to go with him on his wild conspiracy plots about what's happening in this world, or to find people who might be willing to yank him out of that particular spiral. I'm open to positive/neutral/negative CR, so however things go, I'm happy to roll with it.

I'm a great lover of horror elements, so I'll be diving headfirst to whatever those will be, but in the meantime, Riz is pretty much tailor-made for figuring out mysteries. She's relatively normal on the surface but girl has trauma for days and the guts to punch someone several times her size (have you seen how tiny teeny adorable Jenna Ortega is?). Her sister Sam is arriving with her, so they'll probably be stuck at the hip for a while, and it's probably a good idea to get in Tara's good graces if you want to have any sort of good rapport with Sam. Fortunately enough, Tara is a sweet summer child that will only use disproportionate violence if you give her a very good reason, so don't.

CR NOTES: honestly I want to embrace the weirdness! Tara comes from a world where the weirdest thing is that her life is seemingly dictated by tvtropes, so seeing actual superpowers will do wonders for her psyche. She's in desperate need of friends too, can't forget about that.

Also any bad influences that might make her sister literally blow a fuse please.

CHARACTER: Accelerator, A Certain Magical Index (the light novels, not the anime)
CHARACTER INFO: Accelerator is a 15 year old artificial esper (think superpowers by way of quantum physics) with the power manipulate vectors. Having grown up as a science experiment, he took part in a project where he thought he would gain invincibility by killing 20 000 sentient clones. He got about halfway through before being punched out by a guy he would later simp hard for, which ended the project and gave him an existential crisis. Oops! His character arc has taken him from monster to villain to antihero to hero all in the span of like, six months, it's nuts. Currently, he is simultaneously in prison for having done 10 000+ murders (among other crimes) and is running the most advanced sovereign city in the world, which is made up of over a million kids, many of them superpowered. And it's all going terribly, thanks for asking! Also, he might be slowly ascending to godhood, as you do.

It's him, he's tired.

He's an antisocial grumpus with a violent streak that he's trying to be better about, a brain that's equivalent to a supercomputer, and way too much responsibility on his shoulders. He tries to generally be pretty open about being Board Chairman, the strongest esper, and a convicted criminal in order to be a good role model for all the other esper kids, but it's hard when you also deeply hate yourself and want to just lie in bed all day.
CR NOTES: Any! He's antisocial by nature and is generally hostile towards the very idea of friendship, so anyone willing to put up with his silly tsundere nonsense would be good.
PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: His main goal is to go back to his prison cell. He's very sus of what's going on, but that's tempered by his desire to protect the kids of his city against any threats, so he wants to do as much investigation as possible to figure out what the truth of the situation is. He's very bad at peopling but he's making more of an effort to be willing to work with others, so he'll share information to a point. Related to this -- this little guy was shot in the head early on in canon and thus has a severe brain injury that requires him to be connected to an external network to function. Aurora was kind enough to lend him access to her network! Don't expect him to be open about it, since he knows it's a big vulnerability. Surely nothing bad could happen with that!

She'll be slow to warm to folks for the most part, but if you get into her inner circle, you're stuck with her forever. She is still in heavy feelings about her sister, and hasn't really stopped to process or consider the whole "I lost 5 years of my life" thing, having been caught in The Snap and all, so processing that will come throughout gameplay somewhere along the way, I think, so good-deep-built CR will be real good for that!

Bring me positive and negative CR in equal measure. She won't necessarily be everyone's cuppa and that's fine! Drinking buddies will be high on the list of things she might seek out and probably one of the easiest "ins" you might garner with her for initial CR tho.

CR NOTES: Dick is coming in with a ton of established CR, and so I am mostly interested in getting cross-canon CR with him so he's not Bat-exclusive! He's super friendly and good-natured and manages to get along with almost anyone, plus he's an old hand at superheroing. The only CR that's currently off the table is romance: he's coming in with his girlfriend, Barbara, and has eyes for no one else.

For Sharon, I'm interested in her finding friends and allies, getting to know the multiversal equivalents of her friends and family, finding other spy and hero types to train and work with, etc. Also people she can have cookouts with!

She can be a very gregarious person when she's in a good place, plus is just a fab pal to have on your side?? She's very capable, physically and mentally. And. Really. If someone asked her? CHARACTER: Vanessa Ives from Penny Dreadful, near the end of season 2 (w/ CRAU baggage from the City).

CHARACTER INFO: Just some Victorian lady who's been ceaselessly harassed and possessed by demonic exes (Satan and Dracula). She's a psychic and medium, practices blood magic, and casts curses via the Devil's Tongue. Anyone with the ability to can be pinged by her power. The darkness mommy in her is currently (mostly) dormant.

If pushed, she's capable of torture and murder, whether it's up close (stabbity) or from afar (with curses). Her clairvoyant abilities can be useful with solving mysteries or learning enemy weaknesses, and she's more than capable of manipulating others. She can be very sneaky and pragmatic until it gets too personal, in which case she's the type to just march through the proverbial front door without any real plan.

That said, she doesn't only crave violence. While hesitant to get close to anyone again after so much loss, it's inevitable that she'll find outcasts and monster-types to care for. She can be very nurturing and even playful when she isn't boiling over with resentment and rage.

Vanessa doesn't believe the story about why she or the others are here. It sounds like a terrible joke, since she has been running from a prophecy claiming her as the mother of evil and that she will be the end of the world. She's half-convinced this is just another experiment from the City. The only thing keeping her from trying to burn it all down is that she didn't arrive alone (thank Dream of the Endless for keeping her just barely sane atm).

CR NOTES: She is naturally drawn to/draws in loners, criminals, monsters, etc., but she needs all the things, please. (Someone convince her to eat better.) While investigating, she'll be sussing out others, and she's not above stalking persons of interest.

POWERS OPT-IN: If you ever want to interact with her clairvoyance in some way, or sense something about her ~evil~ powers, HERE is an opt-in. Witches, demons, and monster-types may be especially pinged.

Barry's super likeable and like a golden retriever, and he'll help anyone who needs it. That's… literally all I can really offer here. The only people he hates are Eobard Thawne and Hunter Zolomon. He's also from 2016 which means I will definitely fuck up my pop culture references and we will ignore this!

I also want to play the Flash in game as well, so I would love to develop CR pools for both of them and have characters eventually figure out Barry = Flash and Flash = Barry, and even have some characters Just Know because he's obvious and others be surprised by this fact.

I'd love to get some friendships going, some superhero things started, investigating and poking his fingers into things (he's a CSI!!!), and even though he's hung up on Iris West, I do love me some slowburn shipping. The man is a walking vibrator.

I read comics (DC and Marvel) and would love to plot out any DC-related comic shenanigans with characters who know Barry, especially because I know Barry is BLONDE in the comics. He will love hearing about himself!

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: tbh I apped so I could run a time travel plot and ruin a universe skslfsd. I love horror (psychological and sometimes spooky) and mystery (this guy is an investigator so like it's perfect for him) and like getting my hands involved impacting the setting. The show dropped Barry's investigative skill so I definitely want to get him digging into things and making messes.

CHARACTER INFO: Alex is a child spy who has been trained for espionage by his uncle ever since he was a wee Alex, but only recently got Into the Business of Spying by being [checks notes] blackmailed into the business by an extra-shady department of MI6 via threats of guardian deportation and foster care. He absolutely does not fully trust the story they've been fed about why they're here but I would be lying if I said investigating this isn't basically Alex Rider Enrichment.
CR NOTES: he wants to investigate everyone >) no but he does really want to figure out who else is here and if they're potential allies/friends or not. he's been held prisoner with fellow inmates before and it's a good idea to make friends.

I am also very fond of people adopting the traumatized child spy. :)
PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Definitely interested in Alex exploring the Mystery of it all. He and his fellow castmate Kyra are almost certainly going to be breaking into locations to investigate fuckin' everything if anyone's interested in a pair of teenagers getting into your buildings. I also enjoy gently poking at his trauma to see what happens if anyone wants a 16-year-old with PTSD freaking the flip out at them.

ABOUT YOU: Hello, I'm obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh and this stupid child I brought to the game. I'm an old fart who's been RPing off and on for over half of my life looking to get back into the swing of things after taking a break. I'm into a lot of fandoms but my main ones are Yu-Gi-Oh (obviously), Ultimate Muscle, Metal Gear, Bastard!!, Sonic, Undertale, The Elder Scrolls, Sega Genesis Games, Plushies, and Jumping Spiders. CHARACTER: Marik Ishtar from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters

CHARACTER INFO: Marik is a spoiled brat, primadonna, and sadistic little bastard but he kind of has a good side. As long as he isn't given power, he'll behave. And just be an extremely sheltered, weird teenage boy from a world where they decide everyone's fate with an ancient card game. He's very proud of his heritage and evil schemes. Also used to have a split personality but that was ripped from his soul and cast into the Shadow Realm so he's sorta half a person now. Good job, Atem.

I take him from the 4KIDS dub with one minor change taken from the original: The Seal of Memories on his back being a carving instead of a tattoo. So you get to enjoy these dulcet tones tormenting your characters.

CR NOTES: Any, really. I love seeing how the people Marik interacts with affect his behavior. Whether they help shape him into a better person or pull him back into a life of villainy, I am all for it. /grabby hands

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: The mission plots are the main thing that caught my eye outside of the setting itself! Outside of that, I very much enjoy slice-of-life and mystery.

CHARACTER INFO: tbh he's here for the plot, and the plot being he's tolerating it until he can find out the source of who done it!! so he can figure out how to murder talk to them personally. he'll be making connections so long as they'll serve some kind of purpose for him. he dislikes the apartments, dislikes being around so many people and things at once, so you can 100% bet that i'll be making my way over to the locations page so he can get out of those apartments ASAP. on top of that, he's probably going to experiment with offering therapy to those around him.
CR NOTES: honestly ota, but would love to explore having him take in young murderous kids or unstable adults and guiding them in the worst directions possible. i'm so into polite tension between people with lots of underlying side eye, or hannibal/whoever recognizing the darkness in each other and dancing around it. hannibal is a psychopath, and his idea of friendship is "who benefits me/who can i use in an entertaining way" so so it would be really fun to see someone really want to be his friend, and believe hannibal is their friend. idk i want drama. otherwise, let him have the lovely folk over for dinner :)
