Darryl is uncannily intuitive, especially when it comes to people's wishes and desires. He knows what people want and what they might do about it.

He should also be able to recognize magical potential and the specifics regarding the magic user's inclination, and for multiverse purposes he should be able to recognize if someone is not human and if they have potential or hold power in some other way. Like Dragon Ball Z's power levels.

In the interest of keeping this something fun to play, I bring you this handy form:

Trevor Belmont
Castlevania (Netflix)
don't call him 'Treffy'
male (he/him)
20-23ish
Abilities
Like others in his bloodline, Trevor was trained from a very young age to be someone who can go toe-to-toe with vampires and other creatures of the night. While he doesn't possess any sort of supernatural ability, he is generally considered to be at peak human capability in terms of speed, strength, and endurance. Additionally, Trevor is a well-versed and capable fighter both in unarmed and armed combat, although the latter he tends to favor his family whip and a short sword above other weapons.
Out-of-Character
⯌ Backtag I am down to backtag! I will communicate when I need a thread to either wrap up or be dropped, so please feel free to assume the thread can continue unless I indicate a preference otherwise.

⯌ Fourthwall/Canon Puncturing I am generally not okay with fourthwalling, but you are always more than welcome to ask. Canon puncturing is something I generally don't mind, but I would ask that you run it by me first!

⯌ Threadjacking I don't mind some threadjacking! I would just ask things be moved elsewhere if it's going to clutter up someone's inbox.

⯌ Shipping & Smut For games, Trevor is pretty one and only with Sypha. (Although I am not opposed to the polycule if an Alucard is around, I do tend to see them more as legitimately very good friends.) For memes/psls, anything is fair game and you are always more than welcome to ask! In that case, I am open to any gender and 20+ without aging up. Regarding smut, smut is like action sequences for me in that if it's just for the sake of it, it's going to be too mechanical to hold my interest in writing it out. If there isn't something a little more going on emotionally/mentally in terms of the relationship or the characters as individuals, I'd rather just FTB and move on. Otherwise, let's get spicy! One day, I'll get a place for my central kink list, but today isn't that day.

⯌ Offensive Subjects & Triggers Rape/sexual assault, child abuse/death, animal abuse/death, and suicide/suicidal ideation are all topics that I am willing to have present in threads, but as that you appropriately warn for when they are mentioned. Deeper discussions/explorations of these topics are still fine, but I would ask that there is a check-in before, and there are no gratuitous/graphic descriptions. Substance abuse/addiction can be a difficult subject for me. I am fine with mentions of use of the "socially acceptable" substances (or their equivalents) such as nicotine/vaping, marijuana, and alcohol use. Illicit substances that are often categorized as illegal or "harder," I would ask that you warn for mentions of their use or addiction to these substances. Please check in with me prior to anything beyond a mention. The subject of overdosing is not something I am comfortable playing with. If it is not avoidable, please let me know and we can figure something out together. In general, if you're uncertain about any of these topics or others, I'll never be mad if you check beforehand! So please, never hesitate to reach out.
In-Character
⯌ Physical Affection Trevor may be mildly confused as to why you're in his personal space early on in a friendship with him, but he's not opposed to others touching him in general! Clap him on the shoulder or back, hug him, whatever.

⯌ Relationships & Sex As mentioned above, I am open to any gender and 20+ without aging up. Shipping is not really on the table unless you're Sypha if looking at something in-game. But memes/psls, anything goes as far as that's concerned!

⯌ Physical Violence Physical confrontations are absolutely fine with Trevor! He is a pretty strong, talented fighter, and generally peak human condition, but he's not impervious to harm. So, with minor injuries, I am okay with you just going for that. Anything that causes significant physical injury or death, we need to talk out before proceeding.

⯌ Psychic/Telepathy/Mental Violence Trevor doesn't have any sort of mental resistances since he is just a human. But I would ask we chitchat before doing things.

⯌ Magic Similar to above, Trevor doesn't have any inherent magical abilities himself. So, he's susceptible to magic. I would just ask we chitchat beforehand!

⯌ Medical Trevor doesn't have a remarkable medical history, but dude is littered with scars.

⯌ Canon/Character Warnings Castlevania comes with the usual warnings associated with vampires, demons, and other supernatural monster like blood-drinking, dismemberment, coercion, etc. as the show does not shy away from gore and violence. The conceit of the show also involves genocide and themes pertaining to grief/loss and suicidal ideation. Misogyny and violence against women, religious fanaticism, and cults also come up frequently. Trevor, himself, drinks heavily and some of his behaviors could be interpreted as being passively suicidal (not my interpretation, but I can fully see an argument for it!). Generally speaking, issues related to vampires/night creatures, the general thrust of first two seasons' narrative, and alcohol use are liable to come up with Trevor. If you, for any reason, wish to opt out from anything listed here or from Trevor altogether, feel free to leave a comment below! Please be sure to list your characters, and update whenever/as needed. All comments are screened.

name: Wallace 'Wally' West
canon: Absolute Flash
age: 15
canon point: Post issue #3
history: Wiki
abilities:

- Wally can travel back and forth in time, but only along his own timeline. This happens by either transferring his consciousness into the past or by running fast enough that he enters the Timestream. This way, he experiences his entire life simultaneously, including possible future outcomes.

- He can also experience visions of his own immediate future. This allows him to remember events before they even happen. This also works in reverse, and he can experience visions of his past.

- Generates red and yellow colored electrical energy and red energy beams when he runs. He can also project blasts of lightning from his body, when frightened or angered. Wally's lightning is also capable of energy negation.

- Wally's accelerated physiology makes him feel hungry more often than average. So he needs to eat more often than average too, otherwise it affects his powers adversely. Alternatively, Wally is also able to absorb energy, like lightning, which can negate his need to eat. Energy absorption also seems to extend to other mutated people as well. Project Heatwave is thwarted when Wally absorbs his powers, reversing his mutation.

- What's a speedster without their superhuman speed? Wally can run in a full vertical circle, has enhanced reflexes and agility. With enough momentum and speed, he can launch himself into the air.

personality:

Wally remembers a time when his family was happy. His father wasn't around much, but that was okay because he had his mother. When the anxiety came, it was easier to bear because he had his mother. She taught him how to deal with it, how to ground himself. How to remain in the now instead of drowning in what ifs and could bes. He could say then he was really happy. Genuinely. Then Mary died and it felt like everything fell apart.

Wally was never really close to his father. How could he when he wasn't around long enough to bond with? And without Mary to ground him, Rudy uprooted him in more ways than one. They never lived in a place long enough for Wally to make friends, or any connections that felt real. Rudy was never around to take an interest in him. or to see any of the potential he might have. So he withdrew into himself, found solace in his headphones and tried to be invisible.

But he's not invisible. Barry saw him and Wally kind of liked being seen. Because it acknowledged that he was here and that he's alive and that he could be something other than Rudy's kid. It did nothing to bridge the gap between Wally and his father. So when the incident happened, he didn't stop to ask Rudy for help. He ran for his life. He's skittish and anxious on his own, while he adjusts to his powers and the things that happened to him in that lab. People are after him and he can't sit still for long. He tries to remember the things his mother taught him - how to ground himself so he doesn't vibrate out of his skin. It doesn't always work, but when he's given the space to calm down, it's just what he needs.

His powers present a new challenge for him. Learning how to control them, learning how to live with the grief and guilt of what happened to Barry. Navigating how this changes his place in the world. Trying to figure out what it all means in the grand scheme of everything. He is the first speedster, so he has no mentor. No one has blazed a trail for him to follow. He is the trail blazer and the thought is daunting. His anxiety makes his powers difficult to control, so he's often volatile with them. This is not a responsibility he asked for, and he can't really say he wants it, but he has it now and has to learn to live with it.

name: Trevor Belmont
canon: Castlevania (Netflix)
age: Early 20s-ish (he's a real rough twenty-something)
canon point: post-season 2
history: Link
abilities: Like others in his bloodline, Trevor was trained from a very young age to be someone who can go toe-to-toe with vampires and other creatures of the night. While he doesn't possess any sort of supernatural ability, he is generally considered to be at peak human capability in terms of speed, strength, and endurance. Additionally, Trevor is a well-versed and capable fighter both in unarmed and armed combat, although the latter he tends to favor his family whip and a short sword above other weapons.
personality:

🦇 On the surface, Trevor can present at times as apathetic and/or cynical. This largely stems from the fate that befell his family after being excommunicated from the church and banished from their ancestral lands. Unfortunately, many of Trevor's experiences have reinforced his perspective that being a monster hunter is more than a thankless job, but one that is frequently isolating and usually ends poorly. This leads him to tend to view the intentions of others as selfishly driven to the point that acts of goodwill most likely have an ulterior motive. As such, Trevor ignored the call to his hero's journey for a long time, often just wandering about listlessly and viewing people's misfortune as something they most likely earned.

🦇 Additionally, Trevor also tends to present himself like he knows nothing or fails to recognize the seriousness of any given situation. Being assumed to be a hapless drunk historically is often more comfortable for him than being recognized for anything else, family name included, but these days, that guise can do wonders for gathering information or catching others off-guard when needed. Not to say, of course, that Trevor isn't a little stupid at times, but there is a degree to which it is an act and historically has allowed him to distance himself from who he was meant to be.

🦇 And yet, in spite of Trevor's more apathetic to cynical perspective/behavior, he still upholds his family legacy all the same. So much so that Dracula clocks him immediately as "the Belmont" when Trevor came in swinging after Dracula attacked Sypha. Thus, for all that he may say aloud that he won't get himself involved, Trevor does not turn his back on those in trouble. Whether one considers it bravery or recklessness, Trevor is ultimately one to put himself in harm's way to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

🦇 Similarly, Trevor isn't quite as dim-witted as he pretends to be. Trevor demonstrates himself to be an incredibly sharp, pragmatic tactician. He possesses a good sense for battle and possesses deep knowledge as it pertains to vampires and night creatures. Using these in combination and dropping his seemingly carefree demeanor, Trevor is a serious, capable leader for both large and small groups of people regardless of how reluctant he may be at times to be that leader.

⏵ character information
name: Alicia
canon: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
age: Appears late teens; chronologically something like 90
canon point: Act III, after the Reacher quest
history: contains heavy spoilers for the whole game
abilities:

Immortality Alicia, like the rest of her family, were created to be immortal. All wounds eventually heal, no matter how severe (except the burn scars, of course. We can't have that). Even fatal wounds can only down her temporarily before she'll revive and pop back up, good as new. Of course, every injury still hurts as much as it would normally, and dying isn't pleasant. In addition, Alicia never ages, being stuck in her late teenage years for nearly a century. She can only be permanently killed by someone or someone capable of manipulate the chroma she's made out of, like a Painter from her world.

Painting Being raised by a family of artists means that, even though she never quite had the talent the rest of her family did, she's still got more artistic skill and training than the average person. She even still paints casually to keep her skills sharp.

Fencing She's an extremely skilled fighter, which is more of a learned ability than a supernatural one, but regardless. Alicia is extreme fast and able to deliver quick, powerful combos of attacks with her sword that makes her very scary when she actually applies herself.

Buffs In a fight, Alicia is able to give herself the buffs Rush or Powerful, which functionally just makes her faster or stronger. Not a huge change, but enough to be notable.

Chroma-Dependant: Alicia has a number of abilities that involve the manipulation of Chroma, the lifeforce and building blocks of her world. Without it, her abilities would be limited or even unavailable until she can access some chroma.
  • Weapons Like most people from the Canvas, Alicia is able to summon or de-summon her own weapon at will, instead of having to carry it around. Her weapon of choice is a light weight rapier.
  • Time Stop Alicia is able to freeze time with a mere wave of her hand, creating a sort of monochrome snapshot. She can pick and choose who joins her in this frozen time, and everyone outside it is just frozen in place. These can last a little while -- long enough to have a friendly duel, if nothing else. Once time resumes, those who have been stopped are unaware of any time passing. Any movement made by those not frozen still holds over, if one was to walk to the other side of the room or something. She primarily uses this to have private interactions with people without getting interrupted.

  • personality:
Alicia is a ghost, someone always stuck in the shadows because she was made that way. She is someone who prefers to fade into the background and watch in the distance, reserved even without the scars that have constricted her to silence. She surrounds herself with a mysterious aura, whether intentionally or not, and often comes across as more of a phantom than a person.

After all, she's nothing more than a placeholder for her mother's, her creator's, grief and displaced guilt. Alicia is fully aware she's a copy of the youngest Dessendre daughter, who her mother blames for the catastrophic fire. Alicia carries that guilt with her always, sometimes directed at herself, sometimes at her other self, and sometimes at the rest of the family. It's something she bears with sorrow more than anger, an insecurity in her scars that leads her to wearing the mask she was given most of the time.

Time and silence has lead her to be introspective and thoughtful. Her family's natural tendency is towards art and beauty, and Alicia's tendency is towards poetry. What words she does have, she's careful and wields them masterfully, but obviously suffers from communication issues. Her world has never been kind in helping her find a way to communicate, and only her family learned to understand her. So more often than not Alicia's stuck in her own head, revealing little.

But perhaps her greatest curse is her passivity. Whether it's something she was made with as part of her burden and shadowy nature, or just the crushing weight of so many decades, Alicia has... given up. She rarely gets involved in issues, no matter how much they affect her. If she does, she doesn't try very hard to ensure any one ending. Whatever happens, happens, at this point. Maybe something can reignite her spark to get her going again, but she likes her peace and quiet. If the world ends, so be it.

Which is a shame, because Alicia is certainly capable of a lot. She has a clever and empathetic streak, willing to put her trust in others -- but not willing to risk much on it any more. There is, theoretically, the fire of a powerful warrior in her, but it's nearly sputtered and died. She could do a lot if she put her mind to it, but after what she's experience, rousing her heart to move is the hard part. Maybe in this new world something could change that, to reignite her soul, but it'd take quite a lot.

And so she remains her family's little shadow, the ghost of her world, always caught in the darkness.
