HALLOW'S EVE | A PLAYER PLOT

This player plot involves mentions of cannibalism/involuntary cannibalism and Hannibal being Hannibal.


Exactly 1 week before October 31st (pretend I posted on time), everyone will receive a message inviting them to Hannibal Lecter’s home for a feast on Hallow’s Eve.

The party will have hors d'oeuvres spread on tables before the main course of a seasonal delight that most would normally run from: a carefully disguised and artistically served person. Just earlier in September, Hannibal found Sam (rowd) in his home and attacked and killed him to store his parts for this very moment. No one will be able to tell that an almost human (human presenting enough) is being served because each part will be incorporated into famously beautiful dishes out of an exquisite cookbook. Characters will be encouraged to attend in their best formal wear.

The log will go up on or the night before the 31st, and will be considered an open log to everyone. Feel free to make your own starters, tag out to others, etc. I’ll try to tag out as much as possible, but if you'd like to make sure I tag you, just throw a lil notice in the header or something.

This also kickstarts the train of consequences that Hannibal expect once the word gets out that yes, he fed you people. If you have any questions, please leave them here! The party isn’t required at all, and if you’d like your character to never receive the invitation somehow, that’s totally okay. I know we’re reaching extra creepy territory. Feel free also use this post to talk amongst yourselves to plan revenge/manhunt/etc. I'm literally down for everything :)

if i can think of a way to nerf cas temporarily i want to have him attend, otherwise he'll know what he's eating — unless you're okay with that? do you have anything particular planned for how people will find out? 👀

if you can figure out how to nerf him that would work best, since i'm hoping for plenty of fallout after the party, not during hahaha

unless he's fine with just letting everyone eat people without telling them. i think sam mmaaayy be telling someone but how fast that gets out is up jessi/other players. i'm leaving how characters find out afterward (or maybe they realize the horrors as they're leaving) up to everyone involved!

understandable!! i'll have to think what cas would do. there's a possibility he wouldn't say anything because he doesn't understand if this is a situation that everyone else is in on he just doesn't immediately understand... prehistoric humans engaged in some amount of cannibalism and some ancient cultures have as well. so it's another taboo he might not quite grasp and maybe i could swing it so that he doesn't give the game away early... 🤔

Krouse is kind of a hot mess atm but will be attending in a shirt that even has real buttons and has tasted the heat of an iron in its life. He'd be thrilled to be assigned small jobs to give him something to do with his hands and will muster all of his strength to attempt polite small talk with other guests.
