Hello, Etrayans!

It's once again time for our OOC Intro + CR Meme.

There is a mod comment HERE that you can use to ask us mods anything about our upcoming plans, add suggestions, or anything of the like.

For new players, if you'd like, we have a top level HERE in which you can link to your introduction comment to bring more attention to it. We're excited to have you, and look forward to seeing what shenanigans you and your characters will get up to!

We've also added a thread for location run-ins HERE to plan out chance encounters or assumed CR among characters!

Please use the below form to introduce yourself, tell us what you’re looking forward to, and CR you want to play.

PLAYER: your name/handle, and your preferred pronouns if you want to provide them!

ABOUT YOU: what fandoms are you in? what cool thing about you do you think would be fun to share? are you more of a texty tagger, a log tagger, quick boomeranger?

CHARACTER: who have you apped? what canon are they from?

ABOUT YOU: Elder Millennial, Mexican, I've been in LJRP and DWRP circles for the better part of my adult life. Career-wise I did editing, translation and ESL teaching for many years, then I landed a comfy wfh job clicking buttons, it is very dull.

My plurk will soon be all about IWTV again, in the meantime I plurk about my dogs and cat, various family happpenings, and occasionally about the unrelenting ongoing horrors, of which there are many.

My workday is Sunday-Thursday and my weekends are often busy, so I tend to tag CST evenings. When I'm around I try to boomerang and I prefer brackets over prose, but I'll usually match formats.

The lads:

CHARACTER: Darryl Van Horne, Eastwick

CHARACTER INFO: Darryl is a shameless extrovert here to support bad choices. He'll be a very genuine friend about it, he wants people to get drunk and have fun and free themselves from the shackles of expectation. He won't feel guilty at all about whatever negative consequences this brings forward.

I'm here for lowkey corruption arcs, and very open to him learning to be better.

WANTED CR: Good people he can try to corrupt, bad people he can encourage to be worse, people he can be a shameless flirt with. Magical people who want a helpful mentor who'll encourage them to use their powers.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I just want Darryl to get people in trouble. Another family unit mission would be fun. The second I have some free time I'm posting with him offering talk therapy, a thing he is not remotely qualified for.

OTHER: PLEASE COMMENT TO MY OPT-IN/OUT POST.

CHARACTER: Dr. Robert Romano, ER.

CHARACTER INFO: World's bitchiest surgeon, also from the 2000's. He came to Etraya after having been trapped in a different bubble city, Solmara. And since Etraya is so much better, he loves it here. He has been running the hospital, as far as he's aware he's the only non-magical doctor in town and he's very lonely about it. He's a bit of a dick, but jamjar life has mellowed him out somewhat.

WANTED CR: He's actively looking for at least one cranky adult over the age of 30 who's willing to say he's in a band with him and Bruce Wayne. Please make this happen for the angry adults.

CHARACTER: Gary Green, Legends of Tomorrow.

CHARACTER INFO: A totally super normal guy who's had a super normal job for several years.

Gary is a time-traveler from a superhero universe, he isn't a normal guy but he doesn't want to talk about it. He's super friendly and super eager to help and surprisingly empathetic. He's also awkward and at times socially incompetent, but he makes up for it with enthusiasm.

WANTED CR: Anyone, honestly. There's no character type Gary wouldn't be fun to throw at. Super nice people who are clearly confused and weirded out are fun, supervillains are also a blast, normal humans who will think he's insane when he brings up having met the disembodied head of Marie-Antoinette are also fun.

Daniil did some time traveling. He’s loathe to talk about it because with a couple weeks away from it he’s not sure it was real at all. He thinks he’s just insane.

Also hey. Daniil isn’t magical. That’s science stuff. Or whatever. Daniil thinks Romano should dress more like a doctor. He’ll be showing up to work in a vest and nice slacks under his doctor coat.

Daniil chat with Gary about the horrors. Gary was a train once.

Robert will not be dressing more like a doctor, he has a coat with his name on it and that's enough. He'll be thrilled to have someone to bicker with though.
