well obviously Alex himself is not a spy because that would be ridiculous but maybe hypothetically he knows someone who it turns out is from a family of spies and was basically trained to be a spy from birth and then a shady department of MI6 was like



and blackmailed him into working for them but not officially because that would be horrifically illegal




and also that someone is him.
