⏵ June State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! We hope you enjoyed your time at Summer Camp! Or if your character had the fun of going off to Solmara, we hope they enjoyed fighting beasts, and convincing Borealis to come out of hiding! For this application round, we have opted to keep them open an additional week. We announced this over plurk, but realize not everyone checks there! Their new closure date will be July 4th. This will not impact our log or posting schedule at all. In addition, as of today, June 27th, the X-Men cast is no longer under cap. We've got our arrival mingle going up later today to welcome new characters! Please keep an eye out for it. On July 11th, our mission announcement and plotting post will be going up. We do want to note that this next mission will be off world, and we intend for its' duration to be four weeks. As always, we strive to be flexible and build our missions up to suit our player base/characters currently in game, so if we need to slow it down some or put up any additional logs mid-mission, we may check in with our players during to get a feel on if that would help any. Our last feedback post went up on June 19th with our next coming up on September 18th - but we welcome feedback throughout the year regardless of if there's a specific post asking for it! You are always welcome to comment to our older feedback posts with any concerns, comments, or ideas of what we can do to improve the game. We can't promise to bring everything into play, but we do listen to the ideas that have been brought our way and have implemented many player suggestions in the past. ABOUT YOU: Hi I'm Nat and I watch way too much anime to be considered healthy, I'm pretty sure. There's a not zero chance if it came out in the last four years I've seen it. I also enjoy video games, crochet, cross stitch and visiting historical sites and festivals. I tend to be a relatively quick tagger, except if I overdo it and then you get a lull as I rest.

CHARACTER: Hawks from My Hero Academia

CHARACTER INFO: Hawks is Japan's number two hero. He tends to be confident and can come across as gregarious, playful and flirty because that's his public persona. It's been carefully curated by committee as he was essentially designed for his role. Realistically he's a little less outgoing and far more introspective than he lets on. He's a clever guy. He's deeply idealistic about making the world a better place and he's passionate about altruistically helping people. He's naturally optimistic.

Can't miss him, he has huge red wings on his back. He controls all of his feathers telekinetically, and can do quite a few things with them, some of which he keeps under wraps. He's also blink and you'll miss him fast in flight.

I would really like for him to actually connect to people, which is not something he's able to/allowed to do at home, and you know, maybe get some nice things. That and maybe enjoy some freedom while he has it.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'm definitely down to do pretty much everything. Hawks is the type of character who will likely try and dig into places where he is not wanted. It's his job, you understand.

He totally would fit in powers-wise, actually. He's one of his world's type of mutants, in X-Men terms. Powers are normal, but being a bird-hybrid, not so much.

He also met Scott on the TDM, which was wildly amusing. He'd love to meet other people in general, but especially those who are kind of like him.

naaaat, it's ree! the stars have aligned and we're in a game together again. i'll def hit hawks up with gorgug here, idk if you want to know anything about him but we always manage to get cr regardless of characters, so. 👍

i love hawks, so i'm here to throw my guys at you.

i've got leon from resident evil, and i think he'd mesh well with hawks. he's a good boy, super dedicated and loyal, and he'll absolutely fixate on trying to help someone else and dig into places he shouldn't be as well if it'll help someone else. he is very much the help others no matter the cost type. he's coming from a canon point where he just learns he was lied two/manipulated, so he'll be a little reluctant to fully extend a hand of trust. but i think they could get there.

alternatively, i have sam from death stranding (this guy). who is very closed off, quiet, and Wary of being near other people. he'd be willing to help dig into things but mostly because he wants to go home and get his kid back.

so if either of those sounds fun, i'd love to throw one or both of them at you!
