Hello, Etrayans!

We hope you enjoyed your time at Summer Camp! Or if your character had the fun of going off to Solmara, we hope they enjoyed fighting beasts, and convincing Borealis to come out of hiding!

For this application round, we have opted to keep them open an additional week. We announced this over plurk, but realize not everyone checks there! Their new closure date will be July 4th. This will not impact our log or posting schedule at all. In addition, as of today, June 27th, the X-Men cast is no longer under cap.

We've got our arrival mingle going up later today to welcome new characters! Please keep an eye out for it. On July 11th, our mission announcement and plotting post will be going up. We do want to note that this next mission will be off world, and we intend for its' duration to be four weeks. As always, we strive to be flexible and build our missions up to suit our player base/characters currently in game, so if we need to slow it down some or put up any additional logs mid-mission, we may check in with our players during to get a feel on if that would help any.

Our last feedback post went up on June 19th with our next coming up on September 18th - but we welcome feedback throughout the year regardless of if there's a specific post asking for it! You are always welcome to comment to our older feedback posts with any concerns, comments, or ideas of what we can do to improve the game. We can't promise to bring everything into play, but we do listen to the ideas that have been brought our way and have implemented many player suggestions in the past. Our Mod Contact page is always open in case you would like a screened location to reach out to.

Don't forget your Activity! This is just a comment with your handle and characters' names for new players. You are welcome to submit TDM threads for activity points if wanted. Our activity results post always goes up on the 1st of the month, and we have switched to providing a warning list for characters who have yet to responded to AC with an additional five days to respond from the date our results post goes up.

ABOUT YOU: Hi Etraya, I'm back! You may remember me from before as Dick Grayson/Nightwing (

riskfalling) or Sharon Carter (

daughterofliberty). Currently in a Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 chokehold, so I'm bringing in one (1) nerdy engineer. My work is majority content creation so there are times where I step back a bit from RP due to writing All The Words at work, and my pace varies wildly between boomeranging when I can and on the slower side depending on rl stuff. I generally don't do too much network stuff, but Gustave would probably find it fascinating, so you may find me there more than before.

Please note that Gustave's canon is brand new and he comes with major spoilers for Act 1. I'll be adding spoiler tags for his stuff, but please just let me know if you are or are not comfortable with spoilers and we'll work around it!

CHARACTER: Gustave, from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, aka the very beautiful, very sad French RPG that came out a couple months ago.

CHARACTER INFO: Gustave is a kind-hearted, determined engineer-turned-expeditioner who was previously on a different quest to save his world from inevitable destruction. He's coming in without any previous canon CR aside from one other castmate (there's another castmate but it's... complicated...), and the isolation along with the reality of his situation is going to hit him pretty hard. However, Gustave is an innovative problem solver, and he has a major driving force in the form of his family and friends back home, whom he would do anything for, so he's going to be deadset on saving the world for them.

Outside of the overarching plot, he's friendly, with a warm and curious personality, and has a particular soft spot for children and young people. He'll probably be interested in putting together a workshop to tinker in, and will be looking to make friends and allies.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Gustave will be very interested in the worlds outside Etraya and why they've all been brought here! His focus will be on his own world, but he has very strong feelings about outside influences threatening the survival of entire worlds, so he's likely to want to help others, too. I'm interested in plots where various elements of his skill set can come into play — engineering/science, combat, emotional intelligence and soft skills — and where he can expand his CR circle.

Helloooo. I'm Hamu and I play Fio obviously, from the NieR series, a franchise with similar very depressing vibes... unfortunately she's from the mobile game side of canon that had its plug pulled about a year ago so it can only be experienced via YouTube videos now. I really need to fix her info page but if you ever have any questions about her, I can answer them. c:

Anyway, I'm happy to see Gustave here and I hope you don't mind me chipping away at their current thread / and tagging him with Fio more in the future! She's shown to be a more arts & crafts kid in canon (doodling, flower pressing, writing diaries and all that) but due to her canon point, she's started to show more interest in engineering & sciencey things--especially things like how things fly and space and spaceships... she'll be curious if she catches him tinkering with things :')

Hello! Yes, I'm more than happy to continue their thread and have more with Fio! She's so cute and Gustave has a real soft spot for kiddos, so I would love to get more CR with them, especially if she starts getting an interest in engineering. I'm planning to toss him into the mingle this weekend, so feel free to tag away!
