⏵ June State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! We hope you enjoyed your time at Summer Camp! Or if your character had the fun of going off to Solmara, we hope they enjoyed fighting beasts, and convincing Borealis to come out of hiding! For this application round, we have opted to keep them open an additional week. We announced this over plurk, but realize not everyone checks there! Their new closure date will be July 4th. This will not impact our log or posting schedule at all. In addition, as of today, June 27th, the X-Men cast is no longer under cap. We've got our arrival mingle going up later today to welcome new characters! Please keep an eye out for it. On July 11th, our mission announcement and plotting post will be going up. We do want to note that this next mission will be off world, and we intend for its' duration to be four weeks. As always, we strive to be flexible and build our missions up to suit our player base/characters currently in game, so if we need to slow it down some or put up any additional logs mid-mission, we may check in with our players during to get a feel on if that would help any. Our last feedback post went up on June 19th with our next coming up on September 18th - but we welcome feedback throughout the year regardless of if there's a specific post asking for it! You are always welcome to comment to our older feedback posts with any concerns, comments, or ideas of what we can do to improve the game. We can't promise to bring everything into play, but we do listen to the ideas that have been brought our way and have implemented many player suggestions in the past. (Honestly I think Emet will enjoy her fire. He likes those who can keep up with his own snobbery and elitism, and while he may regard her as lesser on an existential level, he can still enjoy some venomous banter.)

Renoir is Verso's father and there's tons of family drama and history behind how they interact.

Renoir is a magical painting of a woman's husband, Aline, who lost her son (the Real Verso) in a fire and fled into a magical/living canvas. There she painted her family to escape her grief (this being the Renour and Verso in-game). Aline and her real family are normal humans in the real world - but inside the paintings they make they are basically living gods. Renoir and Verso are aware of that fact but there's a lot more to it.

There's tons I can chatter about and I think they'll make some interesting CR! Mind if I add you on Plurk?

As a note: I am interested in eventually playing this game but I don’t mind spoilers. Verso and Clive are already buds and I’m working on planning CR with the other cast mates here.

She doesn't need help go away! (She does, badly.) He probably would recognize what's going on there, which is that she's dealing with grief and pain via ANGER. It's kind of obvious given how easily she goes from 0 to 100 is something hits her squishy spots: Something is not right here.

Oh, he'd absolutely body her. Clea has no powers at all other than Painting, unlike the others here. No weapons or magic for her. And she's a Parisian civilian. She can probably beat the crap out of most of the women (and some of the men) of 1905 Paris, but a trained soldier is going to win 100% of the time. She's a dancer/artist with a penchant for fisticuffs, not a soldier at aaaaalll. But! She makes monsters. Do you want to fight some monsters?

Oh! I don't know if you have played FFXVI or if you intend to but Clive being the MC can mean game spoilers if you haven't so let me know and we can work around those.

Clive is stubborn and patient so let him have it Clea. You can be mean to him. He can take it. He might not be nice back, but he knows people lashing out from pain when he sees it.

You know what that sounds like? TRAINING MONTAGE. Get that energy and anger out through physical exercise. Trust him, it helps. He also knows a guy who is a master fencer though he might be, uh, less inclined to actually train her. He's kind of a dick.
