⏵ June State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! We hope you enjoyed your time at Summer Camp! Or if your character had the fun of going off to Solmara, we hope they enjoyed fighting beasts, and convincing Borealis to come out of hiding! For this application round, we have opted to keep them open an additional week. We announced this over plurk, but realize not everyone checks there! Their new closure date will be July 4th. This will not impact our log or posting schedule at all. In addition, as of today, June 27th, the X-Men cast is no longer under cap. We've got our arrival mingle going up later today to welcome new characters! Please keep an eye out for it. On July 11th, our mission announcement and plotting post will be going up. We do want to note that this next mission will be off world, and we intend for its' duration to be four weeks. As always, we strive to be flexible and build our missions up to suit our player base/characters currently in game, so if we need to slow it down some or put up any additional logs mid-mission, we may check in with our players during to get a feel on if that would help any. Our last feedback post went up on June 19th with our next coming up on September 18th - but we welcome feedback throughout the year regardless of if there's a specific post asking for it! You are always welcome to comment to our older feedback posts with any concerns, comments, or ideas of what we can do to improve the game. We can't promise to bring everything into play, but we do listen to the ideas that have been brought our way and have implemented many player suggestions in the past. It really is.

I think it was just because at the time I was playing through Symphonia when a friend offered for me to check out X. So, timing-wise, I couldn't help comparing them. I know X probably does go in a different direction later on, but the early plot sure was similar. My DS can play GBA games. So, if I can manage to find a copy, Tactics Advance might be one I look at?

I know my fiancé has modded IX before with the Moguri mod, so at least that one should be easy if I can just ask him for help! I think the ones he had were mostly just to enhance the visuals a little, so nothing too major.

Mm. We have it on Playstation, and I have it on Steam with the Remaster. So I'll have a think and see which I might prefer.

He should be fine to help me, since he has used mods for IX before! I've only previously played it on the PS5, so I didn't use mods then but it might be nice to have the option to play around with mods to improve the visuals a little and such.

YAY! You’re here!! I feel like our paths keep crossing and then life keeps happening. Looking at your muselist, I think we might have actually done something with Dimitri and Claude like 800 years ago but I’m not totally sure (I haven’t played Claude in so long).

Anyway! Point being!! You have such great taste in characters. I didn’t realize the Piers I was playing with a while back was also you till I just saw your muselist (Piers Nivans, my beloved. He’s my favorite and I miss him). I’ve been meaning to play the RE2 and 4 remakes forever (I played the originals eons ago), and I just got them in the Steam sale, so!!! 🫡

I think I remember you saying you’re familiar with DBH — there’s also a Connor here who is very cool and I imagine he and Leon would be great. This might fit the softer bit for Leon! I also love horror and I don’t think I’ve explored that here yet, but again. Love. I’m sure others would enjoy that too!

This might be difficult to pull off, but I think it would be neat if there was some sort of recap of shenanigans characters got into- either OOC so players can know what's happening with others, or IC like gossip girl.

Like I know that Damian was starting conflict with the folks from Arcane, but I don't know if anything came of that. And some people might not know about what happened in Solmara.

The difficulty would either be in someone reading a whole lot of tags- not to mention hand waving, or having players do little summaries which some folks might not want to do for one reason or another.

We are intending on adding cr memes to our bi-monthly posts, likely going up right around the same time apps open (so a week before ooc intros for new characters) so it spaces it out between OOC intros and mission plotting. One thing we could do to offer catch up for what characters have been up to is add a section for what characters had been up to on these memes!

This was something the mod team had discussed a bit ago, especially given it would also give us an idea of what players are up to in spheres where we may not catch it.

As for Damian versus the Arcane cast, we're not entirely in the know there, but it seems like Scarecrow and Silco have teamed up to concoct some fear-shimmer for the non-powered individuals to help even out the score, and Vander and Jason had talked over how to handle their respective casts.

Ahhh hopefully you don't mind old gacha game spoilers then and I can tell you more if you want. This is such a short summary of it- the girl at the beginning actually isn't her. She got bodyswapped with Levania (the big monster dude) after getting tricked. The journey is pretty much going up the tower to purify the Scarecrows/restore memories and save Fio at the end. Fio is a DrakeNieR kid so unsurprisingly she has had a crappy life... Verso's kindness is welcome...

I'm so excited to play more of it!! I've had to take a break after Act II just because the last section was so long... it's been a long while since I've played a single player game that isn't gacha or MMO and one that's managed to keep a grip on me and make me feel a painful emotion.
