⏵ June State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! We hope you enjoyed your time at Summer Camp! Or if your character had the fun of going off to Solmara, we hope they enjoyed fighting beasts, and convincing Borealis to come out of hiding! For this application round, we have opted to keep them open an additional week. We announced this over plurk, but realize not everyone checks there! Their new closure date will be July 4th. This will not impact our log or posting schedule at all. In addition, as of today, June 27th, the X-Men cast is no longer under cap. We've got our arrival mingle going up later today to welcome new characters! Please keep an eye out for it. On July 11th, our mission announcement and plotting post will be going up. We do want to note that this next mission will be off world, and we intend for its' duration to be four weeks. As always, we strive to be flexible and build our missions up to suit our player base/characters currently in game, so if we need to slow it down some or put up any additional logs mid-mission, we may check in with our players during to get a feel on if that would help any. Our last feedback post went up on June 19th with our next coming up on September 18th - but we welcome feedback throughout the year regardless of if there's a specific post asking for it! You are always welcome to comment to our older feedback posts with any concerns, comments, or ideas of what we can do to improve the game. We can't promise to bring everything into play, but we do listen to the ideas that have been brought our way and have implemented many player suggestions in the past. But yeah TL;DR Deltarune has been dropping lil bits of lore that can connect back to the relationship between Frisk/Chara and the player, and it's! Fucked!! Surprise, it's a free eldritch entity that moves your limbs and speaks with your mouth with no warning whatsoever! I used to run with them essentially being a ShB-finale-style rejoining with two actually different souls, but honestly this is even more fucked up and I love it.

ABOUT YOU: Hi hi, I'm Mexican so English is not my first language, but I do try to do my best so things don't sound too awkward. Long time roleplayer, however it's been years since I joined a new game-- I mean, last time I did LJ was still a thing and I've been mostly hanging out with a close group of friends in IJ ever since, so I am a bit shy. Right now, I'm pretty much hyperfixated with Sonic (that blue hedgehog has me on a chokehold), but I have gone through my handful of fandoms over the years. I like anime, comics, videogames, movies, tv shows, kdramas, I know I used to enjoy the sensation of reading a book but I haven't been able to read anything but fanfiction lately. I try to tag constantly, unless life's out to get me, but such is the fate of a tired, middle aged adult.

CHARACTER: Sonic the Hedgehog, from the Paramount Movies

CHARACTER INFO: Meet this little blue menace. Fastest thing in the galaxy! Sonic loves making new friends (which is a fun contrast with his mun, who is an introvert, hah). He's fiercely loyal to the people he cares about, and has strong moral compass. He is quite talkative, overly enthusiastic, always ready to try new fun things. He can be quite annoying when he gets his mind into it, specially to people who are allergic to fun or too serious for their own good.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Specifically with Sonic: fun adventures, silliness, shenanigans! Lighthearted things that leave you with warm fuzzy feelings. I am also not opposed to more serious, emotional stuff, and solving mysteries! I enjoy story driven plotlines, and seeing the characters I play grow.

Look the hat and robes/jacket are iconic for black mages. It's an aesthetic.

I know of Nier but have yet to play it. I'm totally down for cr, though! Vivi needs all the friends. Especially closer???? to his age. And ones that are not scared of him with his appearance.

Fiance has said I should give X another try. I played like four hours??? when a friend had it. I just kept comparing it to Tales of Symphonia. But I know it prob does differ more later on in the game. VI is on my list, and I know it is one of his faves, too.

Yeah, I'm on Windows. So I'm hoping it isn't too complicated. I've mostly been playing on consoles, so I have not looked into mods before.

I haven't played Symphonia, so I can't compare, but yeah, to enjoy a game I usually find you have to set aside comparisons. Ironically, that's part of what made people not appreciate IX! As a curveball recommendation, before picking up FFT, I'd try FF Tactics Advance first. I think it'd appeal more to you right off the bat and it'd help you decide if you vibe with that kind of gameplay.

It shouldn't be! Usually you either subscribe on Steam and it's managed for you or, at worst, you plop some files in certain folders. The main things to watch out for would be making sure that your mods are compatible. (Like if you have a mod that turns everyone into Cid as a frog, that will conflict with a mod that turns Steiner into Beatrix or something). The other major thing that makes modding a pain is game updates breaking them, but given FFIX is complete and made back when games weren't drip fed content/updates, that shouldn't be an issue.

i love hawks, so i'm here to throw my guys at you.

i've got leon from resident evil, and i think he'd mesh well with hawks. he's a good boy, super dedicated and loyal, and he'll absolutely fixate on trying to help someone else and dig into places he shouldn't be as well if it'll help someone else. he is very much the help others no matter the cost type. he's coming from a canon point where he just learns he was lied two/manipulated, so he'll be a little reluctant to fully extend a hand of trust. but i think they could get there.

alternatively, i have sam from death stranding (this guy). who is very closed off, quiet, and Wary of being near other people. he'd be willing to help dig into things but mostly because he wants to go home and get his kid back.

so if either of those sounds fun, i'd love to throw one or both of them at you!

CHARACTER INFO: It's Bruce! Again! This time coming from DC comics. Specifically he is post detective comics 1092. He's a broody asshole masquerading as a charming playboy. He's coming in during the Mercy of the Father storyline. (detective comics 1090-1096. Specifically he is post issue 1092). Great at everything except interpersonal relationships. Also will adopt any stray children, so don't leave them unattended if you don't want him to abscond with them.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: He is still getting settled and figuring out which of his kids are his and which are from the multiverse. About to experience his first mission and that'll help him get a better understanding of what's happening. He'll want to Investigate because he gotta get back to Gotham and stop Asema from killing anymore of Gotham's troubled youth.
