⏵ June State of the Game and Arrivals ⏴ Hello, Etrayans! We hope you enjoyed your time at Summer Camp! Or if your character had the fun of going off to Solmara, we hope they enjoyed fighting beasts, and convincing Borealis to come out of hiding! For this application round, we have opted to keep them open an additional week. We announced this over plurk, but realize not everyone checks there! Their new closure date will be July 4th. This will not impact our log or posting schedule at all. In addition, as of today, June 27th, the X-Men cast is no longer under cap. We've got our arrival mingle going up later today to welcome new characters! Please keep an eye out for it. On July 11th, our mission announcement and plotting post will be going up. We do want to note that this next mission will be off world, and we intend for its' duration to be four weeks. As always, we strive to be flexible and build our missions up to suit our player base/characters currently in game, so if we need to slow it down some or put up any additional logs mid-mission, we may check in with our players during to get a feel on if that would help any. Our last feedback post went up on June 19th with our next coming up on September 18th - but we welcome feedback throughout the year regardless of if there's a specific post asking for it! You are always welcome to comment to our older feedback posts with any concerns, comments, or ideas of what we can do to improve the game. We can't promise to bring everything into play, but we do listen to the ideas that have been brought our way and have implemented many player suggestions in the past. I am usually more keen on the protags/heroines, but. Vivi was too cute. As much as I also adore Zidane and Garnet.

I got up to the crater in VII and around halfway through VIII before losing my memory card and the second disc. I've also played through IX and the main story for XVI but not the dlc yet. I've got XV and X and XII as options as well, and am starting on XIV (still doing A Realm Reborn, so I know I am way behind since I only started playing in like Sept.) idk there was just something really kinda. Timeless/classic about IX?? And lbr my fave Tales is Symphonia, so the cutesy aesthetic but actually being dark as heck fits my jam, I guess lol.

I know nothing about installing mods since I mostly go with consoles but. I do have some games on Steam and IX has some iirc so I want to try??? Maybe.

Hello Grace! Welcome to the game! I play this little girl Fio from the NieR series and she's interacted with most of the Sonic cast so far. I'm hoping to eventually get around to everyone someday... I really enjoy throwing her at a lot of nonhuman CR since her main travel companions in canon were nonhumans. Fio's a very friendly kiddo (with a depressing backstory like all DrakeNieR characters) so she'll likely get along with Sonia!

I'm a side character girlie through and through. I can't help it. It's in my bones. Vivi is just so cute he's like a black hole: People see Vivi, Vivi is favorite. That's just how it is. A law of the universe.

Based on that, I'd do X and VI first of the older ones, with X first. It shares some similarities in that it's very bright and colorful, but it tackles some pretty severe/dark themes like 'how much do you give up before a goal stops being worth it?' I'm not super familiar with the newer ones and don't do MMOs, so alas.

Steam mods are really easy! Even off Steam mods aren't that bad if you're on a Windows machine. Mac can be a pain with how it obstructs its file paths, but it's really easy once you get the basics down. :)

Hello Caprica! I'm Hamu and I play this very friendly little girl Fio from the NieR series. And if you're familiar with the series, she has a tragic backstory like pretty much every NieR character... but she's doing OK here in this setting and is the sort of person to smile through hardship. She's around 7-8ish, though she's about the same tiny height as Vivi. I think CR with these two would be really cute if you want a fellow kid friend and I love throwing her at nonhuman types, especially since her first real friend is a nonhuman... except he's a giant 7 ft tall monster, haha.

Ignore the repressed trauma stuffed under the bed there--but for real, they're a curious little kid with good intentions who is used to having way too much responsibility for other's lives placed on their shoulders. Chara, meanwhile, is here to Judge You. They already dislike you, but Frisk has the motor controls so they get to seethe and fuckin' deal with it. This is the Level Seven Friend Secret, so good luck unlocking all of THAT lore!
PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Right now I just want to get the kiddo settled in and find some friends/curiosities/adults to slowly realize just how much of a Fucking Mess both these kids are and maybe get them to heal a bit. Chill vibes and see where the CR takes things!

CHARACTER INFO: sam is the protagonist of the series death stranding. he's basically a glorified fedex man who runs around with a gps baby strapped to his chest, giving people weird shit, and hooking them up to a network that is unknowingly helping an extinction entity connect everyone for the apocalypse. he's awkward, quiet, scared of being touched to the point where he gets a rash when he is, and he's got a lot of major baggage. but he's a good, does the right thing expecting nothing in return, and who tries and fails not to get attached to people. note some stuff in his canon is just really fucking weird and sensitive in nature. please check out his opt out post to see what things may come up. i'll do my best to avoid anything sensitive unless we've touched base with one another.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: a mix of things! some fluffy stuff to get sam used to people again and slowly work towards him opening up. horror is always loved, and a little action never hurt. but honestly anything where he gets the chance to explore the idea of not having to be alone and accepting that even everything that happened with his late wife doesn't mean he can't have a life and happiness.

CHARACTER INFO: the golden boy of the resevil franchise: a rookie cop who showed up on his first day to a virus outbreak that turned everyone into monsters. he's pulled from end game where he's learned the truth about umbrella and ada as well as generally been put through the ringer. he's a Big Damn Hero who throws himself into the line of fire (literally and metaphorically) for others and wants to help as many people as he can. he's annoyingly hard-headed, and he copes with stress with bad commentary. so while he's polite, friendly, and considerate of others, he's going to be slow to trust and a bit skittish while he gets used to a world where things aren't, you know, trying to eat his face off.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: H O R R OR will always be my answer for leon. give me horror, give me mystery, put him on the edge of his seat and make him have to mentally and emotionally learn to cope with it all. but i will never say no to something softer to help him learn to trust again and decompress.

Also I actually didn't realize there was some line about "liability" in his canon... (I just started Act III not long ago and I do not mind spoilers...) It was a coincidence I swear!!

Clive knows that he would want to be taken seriously, so he takes others seriously, too. It's common courtesy to him. If he chooses to interact with someone, that person is worthy of his full attention and effort. He doesn't really do things half way.

Sheer force of will?? And an eventual good support system helps. Clive is strong, but he will maintain that he is nothing without the people who support him. He's a good bean and downplays a lot of what he can do and who he is.

He LOVES learning from people who are better than him. He has an itch to be really good at everything that he does, so finding someone who would be willing to work with him and have patience so he is able to learn with him (without being an asshole about it) would be really nice for him.

Also, please appreciate the view. It's a good view. Maybe one day if they get comfortable enough with each other she can even use him as a model ;) As long as she doesn't... you know.. Paint him.

Clea also loves to learn and push herself, though uh...she might need work on the 'without being an asshole' part of teaching. She's got obscenely high standards - for herself and everyone else. And she'll let you know it. I'm not sure if patience is really her thing, honestly. Ope.

A support system? WHAT'S THAT LIKE, CLIVE? HUH? Clea just over here drowning, telling people she's drowning, and being ignored. This is fine. (See above: Nobody ever had patience for HER, so she thinks it's a sign of coddling...*sigh*)

Look, Clea likes good looking people and there's no shame in it. And luckily for Clive, one of the few morals she does have is she very strongly disapproves of copies of real people, so no unauthorized Paintings. Especially for those purposes. 'Do I look pathetic enough to have to resort to Painting for a lover?' is her view on it. She's only interested in genuine desire, and that's not possible from a Painting in her view.

She might genuinely have him model, though. Either for a sculpture or to help with dance, because the way she sees it, one of the hardest differences between fighting and dancing is going to be holding a position. It'd be practice taking different positions and holding them there exactly for a certain period of time.

(Boo responsible! Yes, XV being the FF Midwest version is very intriguing and you get why I see it that way. Good luck moving, moving sucks.)
