Hello, Etrayans!

We've had several people reach out to us for plotting with the Solmara reveal, so we wanted to give all of you one space you can use to discuss your plans, and plot with other players!

For those who had originally come from Solmara, please feel free to reveal anything that hasn't been brought up on this post!

For those who have reached out to the mods regarding Solmara in different spaces, we would like to ask to move all plotting in regards to this other city bubble to this post, to ensure visibility for others participating.

Yes, piggybacking onto this to give a general overview** and see if it vibes with the mods! Max will reach out to Alrys, requesting to meet her outside of the city -- the reason will be because he has precious cargo that they can't afford to lose to the bestiary or elements here, and they're low on supplies. He will lament that Romano and Connor were apprehended by Aurora, but that he had found an ally in Dazai, who is one of Etraya's anti-AI residence with particularly helpful capabilities.

If she agrees to meet, Max will give her a piece with false data (whether it's the one Aurora gave him or just a general USB/disc/etc of data depends on if the Hospital crew take the one with a message to Borealis with them). But once Dazai is able to nullify any of the people with Alrys, or Alrys herself (which would be a good target, since it could immediately sever her charm link with those who wouldn't typically follow her), Max will give a slight signal to Caitlyn and Furiosa, who will be at a distance with sniper scopes aimed. [I believe Dazai hopes to use a handshake to sever the power of whoever ends up effected, as a note.]

Max will then attempt to shoot and kill Alrys, while Furiosa and Caitlyn can provide emergency back-up if he utterly fails at getting a shot on her. Vander and Dimitri will be in the wings also waiting to provide back-up, as well as Hernan (who is hella destructive and can clean up Alrys' back-up) and Scott will be available with his optic laser beams as a cherry on top. Nate will be able to provide his psychic abilities and is also a heavy hitter!

Basically if it goes into a knock-down drag out, we got some people ready to dish it back. :)

... Max would also heavily recommend that Alrys' remains are completely destroyed, so that she can be more likely to stay unrevived. :))))

**THIS IS ALL HINGING ON IF ALRYS IS WILLING TO MEET, and we're open to adjusting eveyrthing accordingly of course.

Alrys will agree to meet with specific conditions. However-

First things first. Who genuinely has the drive with Aurora’s encoded message?

I've double-checked -- Max will have the fake with the encoded message with him.

Alrys will agree to meet, but tell him to come to an abandoned building just south of the city - agreeing to meet him out of town as he requested with his precious cargo, but not offering to go too far out of city limits. She will come with her guards and her lackeys. Lackeys will take the drive on Alrys’ behalf.

Alrys will not allow Dazai to touch her. Alrys really won’t let anyone get physically close to her; this isn't her first round with powered people, even if they are new potential allies. Callie will take and shake his hand instead if he insists- Though this seems to be the signal for Max’s attack?

Max will not be able to successfully make the shot, as his movements are being carefully watched- and this will prompt Alrys to retreat and call in reinforcements. Reinforcements, super-powered in their own rights, will inevitably spot Furiosa, Caitlyn, Vander, Dimitri, Hernan, Scott, and Nate as a serious out-and-out brawl commences.

You're welcome to have as many people injured - or killed - in this brawl as you'd like! Please let us know how you'd like this part to go. People are welcome to follow Alrys to a rendezvous halfway back to the city: let us know how many will follow her, and we will let you know how that goes.

Before proceeding, a quick question -- did they come in multiple vehicles? Would Max be able to hijack a car from any of the people who hang back to cover Alrys's escape?

They can hijack a car, as a treat.

We'll say they arrived in two vehicles.

bonus question: do alrys’ guards have uniforms that can be stolen?

They don't wear uniforms, no, but some of them have matching red handkerchiefs tied around their right upper arm.

Can Dazai lift some off of the injured or dead in the battle?

Sure!

Max is going to hijack the car for himself, with Furiosa driving; Dazai and Dimitri are confirmed to jump in with them! They'll be attempting to keep on Alrys' trail -- Nate and Hernan will be joining up later on with them via flight once they've fought the people who stay behind to cover Alrys' escape (so they won't be in the vehicle, but they'll be close behind).

Vander, Caitlyn, and Scott will hang back to keep dealing with any stragglers from the initial attack, with Hernan and Nate helping them until things are calmed down and they can also pursue.

(And as a note, Nate will be specifically attempting to combat Beckett, though player is currently interacting w/ mods regarding this already.)

At some point when able, one of the murder crew is gonna try to send messages to the hospital crew, informing them of the situation.

Nate can take down Beckett! (And we’ll follow up with the player as well). Anyone who hangs behind to deal with stragglers will be successful as forces split between there and the hideout while retreating.

They can chase Alrys down to the rendezvous point, though they’ll get caught up in the throng of guards and natives initially.

Murder Crew can reach the Hospital crew via earpiece to warn them, but as the chase continues, they will find themselves not at the hospital, but her hideout.

And once they get near the hideout, they'll find Ithaqua sneaking inside in the havoc.

Also, interestingly enough, the bots have started to abandon their posts at the hideout and head towards the hospital.

At this point, their group is going to split up and come at the hideout from multiple angles -- so you'll be hearing what each person is up to under your comment! Max and Furiosa are gonna stick together, and Max will proceed to carefully follow Ithaqua. One part because Aurora wanted them to keep an eye out for Ithaqua (even though Max totally assumed he'd 'gone home') -- but also because Max knows Ithaqua might be the best way to find Alrys, and that he's a real heavy hitter.

Max and Furiosa can follow Ithaqua, who is intently chasing down Alrys.

Between the blink of an eye and the next, Ithaqua has gotten far ahead of the rest of them and is mowing his way through a few of her guard toward the center most area of the hideout.

With the distance he's gained, he starts hacking away at Alrys' as she quickly throws bodies of her guard in front of her to protect herself despite how futile it is. With Beckett taken down elsewhere, there is significantly less keeping her safe and many of the guard seem to be fighting against her pushing against their will, causing her attempts to pull them in to make it even more difficult for her to get any distance between them. Ithaqua's display of brutality might be horrific to most, but his voice carries on the wind, and he is laughing. He is enjoying this madness, reveling in the chaos he causes until he manages to fell Solmara's leader with his axe.

Kneeling before Alrys' body, he ends up clutching at his chest with both hands. His hood has fallen off in the battle, and one of Alrys' guards takes the opportunity to put a gun to his messy silver hair.

There will be no reaching him in time to prevent the shot, but it's only moments after that confusion seems to seep through the few she's gathered around her.

Max will send out a message to those on Team Murder — that Alrys has been killed by Ithaqua, and that we've lost Ithaqua in the scuffle as well. :(

Before proceeding, are the people left confused around Alrys still in fight mode? Are they getting enough clarity that Max would be able to talk to them as an ex-Solmaran, to let them know they had all been under Alrys' potential charm powers? How they were here to help stop Alrys and free people from her control?

Or would this be a more hostile space and they need to book it out of there while people are confused?

(He will especially tell Flynn if he's around, as he found him empathetic and agreeable in the times he's seen him.)

It would be more of a confused space than a hostile one! Max would be able to talk to them and get through to most. Some may be hostile because they're confused, but these would be few in number.

Excellent. Max will speak out (as best as he can, considering how few words he tends to use) and tell them exactly what had happened when it comes to Alrys and her control over the population. He will also let them know he's interacted with another city's AI, and that trusting the AI and getting it back on their side will help them with dwindling resources, creature control, and building maintenance. Furiosa will likely be filling in talking points too, so they can have a unified front in the middle of everyone else's confusion.

He also is hoping to completely stop any additional fighting between Etraya and Solmara folks; he'll reach out to his side of the team to inform them they can stand down if Solmara's crew does the same.

Without Alrys' control and with Beckett also down, the rest of them are relatively - without leadership. Beckett was Alrys second, after all, and with Nate taking him out earlier, there's no one to step up in her stead.

The remaining Solmarans are confused and upset, but will listen to Max's words. Some will be a little unsure considering the amount of fighting they had been doing up until that point, but between Furiosa and Max, they will stand down with the promise of assistance in reupping their resources.

After accepting a wild ride with Max, Furiosa, and Dazai to chase Alrys down Dimitri will put on one of the red bandanas.

With lance in hand he’ll go through the front door. If it looks like he can blend in with the people enough to get closer to Alrys he will, otherwise he is more than willing to cut his way through to her.

My man is gunning for her head. 🔥

While Dimitri may be wearing a red bandana, it does nothing to hide his identity. After all, there are only about two hundred individuals within this city bubble total, and most of those on Alrys' team are quite familiar with one another.

He can, however, cut down several of her guard on his pathway trying to reach her. Dimitri will notice that many of them appear to be - a little confused as to why they're fighting the longer this goes on.

Dimitri will cut through the guard and reach Alrys - he'll have time to injure her extensively as she tries to prevent Ithaqua from approaching her (see the response above!) which will greatly assist in her downfall (also see above!).

In the end, with her dropped to the ground, the rest of the Solmarans will seem very - off, as if they are coming out of a fugue.

Dazai is putting on one of those red handkerchiefs along with a hat and coat he stole for good measure as well as covering up most of his face in bandages to hide his identity. Upon entering the base, he will immediately attempt to spread confusion, misinformation, and distrust by presenting himself as an injured guard from the battle Alrys just escaped from and spinning wild stories about how Beckett is the traitor, actually, and tried to kill them all because Max had found evidence of his treachery, and how Callie has been compromised by the enemy -- he saw her shaking hands with an outsider from another city bubble!!

He'll also try to claim that he found the base camp of these intruders and can take Alrys to them to wipe them out if they'll bring him to her, and if he's successful in being given an audience he'll start staggering as though dizzy and seemingly "collapse" from his injuries, with the goal of "accidentally" falling on her to nullify her power or even letting her catch him if she's loyal enough to the people on her side to help them.

He has a gun tucked into his waistband and a knife up his sleeve, if this goes sour.

There are roughly ~200 individuals within Solmara, making blending in to any extent near-impossible when the amount of bodies they've got around them are surprisingly few. Dazai sows confusion among the masses mostly because his presence here is confusing. They monitor new arrivals, there haven't been any in the last few weeks, and the man in front of them - well, isn't one of theirs.

It will give the others an opening to break in and begin fighting back though!
