We've had several people reach out to us for plotting with the Solmara reveal, so we wanted to give all of you one space you can use to discuss your plans, and plot with other players! For those who had originally come from Solmara, please feel free to reveal anything that hasn't been brought up on this post! For those who have reached out to the mods regarding Solmara in different spaces, we would like to ask to move all plotting in regards to this other city bubble to this post, to ensure visibility for others participating. One more important note that we didn’t want to get lost in an edit- You can only go there and back once. Once you’re back, that’s it.

What happens to those who don't make it back to Etraya before the portal closes? Or is that meant to be revealed closer to if/when that happens?

The portal closes at the two week mark. They absolutely have to get back to the portal before it closes, or else there will be severe consequences. She cannot hold the portal open longer than she will be, and she cannot reach you from there.

While IC and OOC time does flow at the same ratio, we understand threading out events can take longer, but the actions they are going to take need to be plotted by the end of the two week mark.

You can give us what characters are doing each day leading up to the deadline, as we assume they aren’t just standing around.

Hey, mods. With Nate’s connection to Quentin back on etraya, he was going to ask Quentin to ask Aurora if bringing back Alrys’ body counts as a person coming through or not. Or if there will be an issue bringing her back.

A dead body does still count as a person - and as she's a Solmaran, she won't be able to pass through Aurora's portal.

Sounds good. Is Beckett someone who will be around in this battle? Asking because Nate would attempt to take down/disable him if so. Just figuring out where to place my guy for all this. 🙂

Beckett would accompany Alrys to meet up with Max, yes!

Beckett's abilities function as a telepathic shield, so Nate would need to rely more on his telekinetic abilities than anything else, but he can disable him.

Basically my thought is Nate would first see if he could push against Beckett’s shields (telepathic arm wrestle amirite) or attempt to crack them. This would probably alert him to Nate?? But yanno it’s yolo time and all.

While Nate is a powerful telepath, Beckett's entire skillset is shielding. He cannot use his telepathy to read thoughts, anticipate movements, etc - which means he's spent a significant amount of time learning to shield others and maintain that shield. He'll feel Nate as soon as he does start pushing against his shields, and will fight back (telepathically, of course) to maintain those shields. He won't know where the pushback is coming from, exactly, but will know that it's someone in their group.

He isn't a terrible fighter, either, but relies on his fists. Once he has noticed someone is trying to break passed his defenses, he'll seek them out from among the Etraya crew, taking along a few other fighters and powered individuals (super strength, flight, and a teleporter) as back up to take them down before they take him down.

If you'd like to thread out this fight, we're open to that! If not: Nate can take Beckett's shields down by knocking him out and breaking through them while he's unconscious and not able to push back as hard as he could while he's awake. This will break the shield on everyone, including Alrys.

Handwaving it is fine with me. He'll just work some fancy telekinetic creativity with the help of Scott and have those shields broken when Beckett is unconscious. He wouldn't kill Beckett or his help, but he might telekinetically wrap him up in whatever debris as a means to keep him in one spot oops.

I also have a random question of sorts. If Nate were to end up burning himself out from this and ending up in a bit of a psychic coma (don't worry it happens sometimes), upon returning to Etraya through the portal, does he get a bit of a pass for missing those few days of camp? Or will he have to make up for it or w/e when he wakes? c:

Missions are mandatory, but in the case of camp, his physical presence would be enough to count as being there and attempting to "participate".
