ABOUT YOU: Elderly game designer who lives with her cats and a dog on the midcoast of Maine. As a game designer, my passion is video games, and I yap about my love of them. My fandoms are Final Fantasy, Suikoden, Metal Gear, Devil May Cry, Metaphor: ReFantazio, DC Comics, and Legend of Zelda. And various other games too numerous to list. And Honkai: Star Rail, apparently. If you have not played H:SR, then congratulations! That's a very healthy way to live your life! But also buckle up.

CHARACTER: Sunday from Honkai: Star Rail.
CHARACTER INFO: A dangerously insane church confessor with psychic powers who is about to become a sun god. Or was about to. He really believes that the cause of all human suffering is the illusion of free will, as it will always be overwritten by the harsh realities of human nature ("survival of the fittest"). In his paradise, humanity would give up their free will to live forever within his dream, where he would attend to them as the Sun and take on the burden of making bitter choices. He would help the weak, burn the wicked, and sacrifice his own happiness to remain the one waking soul until the end of time. He believes in his vision so much that it makes him self-righteous and arrogant.

Sunday is a man with layers, though! Like an onion! Also like an onion, those layers all make you cry.

On the surface is a very stately, methodical, and fastidious young man who analyzes everything and everyone.

Below that, a paranoid control freak who tries to manipulate his environment and everyone in it. He rules over the people close to him with a velvet-clad iron fist and can be surprisingly cruel if anyone disrupts his routine. He would, and has, put death curses on people to force their obedience.

At the core is a very sweet, sensitive, and artistic soul who has a lot of trouble existing in the world as his authentic self. So, for protection, he covers himself with a thorny personality. This inner side of Sunday can break through to the surface, but he has to be shaken out of his current solipsistic dementia first. In canon, doing this involved running him over with a space train. Multiple times. So, you know...

It is possible to develop close CR with him! But expect that getting to know the "real" Sunday will take multiple interactions.

WANTED CR: Do you have someone who would feel strongly about a man obsessed with control? I have the sun for you!

I am interested in:

Characters to manipulate.
Characters to have philosophical conversations with.
Does your character feel guilt and need to confess anything? Confessor here.
Fellow music nerds.
Potential friends with the stamina to get to know him.
Potential enemies. He's an asshole. He loves everyone with the intensity of a thousand suns and wants what be believes is best for them. But still an asshole.

Or anything else! I am still fairly new and game for any sort of CR.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: While I am not opposed to lighter stuff, I love heavier things. Psych horror, drama, political drama etc! Anything that really helps you dig into the meat of what motivates a character. For Sunday in specific, it would be fun to get him into a position of power over time. Then his villainy will really have a chance to shine (get it? because the Sun?) and create some mayhem.

Also, Sunday has an ability called "Tuning" that can mess with people's minds in various ways. You can read more about it and fill out permissions HERE. Who doesn't want an oppressively domineering person digging around in their head?

ABOUT YOU: Into various fandoms but mostly a gamer whenever time permits. I just finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I'm now working on Death Stranding 2. I have also been hosting a Vox Machina watch party on the discord for a couple of months. We're currently on Season 3 and anyone is welcome to join us Sunday nights. I match tagging style and often tag back within 1-2 days or faster when I can. I play Hob Gadling, Vax'ildan Vessar, and Vincent Valentine on the game and am open to plotting with them.

CHARACTER: Vincent Valentine (FF7: Rebirth)
CHARACTER INFO: Vincent is my most recent character addition to the game. He's been active since Sept and made a scene by accidentally transforming into an alien creature during the October event (he's still so embarrassed by that). Things to know: He's tall, slim, and generally quiet/soft-spoken. He's an introvert to the max, so please engage with him. He rocks the vampire aesthetic like you wouldn't believe. Generally, he's armed with a large handgun strapped to his thigh and wears a golden gauntlet on his left hand. Below the surface level stuff, he's actually an immortal due to being the host of an ancient weapon/being, which was the result of experimentation by Professor Hojo. He can be a bit hard to get to know, but he could use some friends!
WANTED CR: Anything, really! Less interested in silly-stuff, but not opposed to it. Just prefer it in moderation, but come at me with your ideas!
PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Would like to see some mystery-driven plots. Strong hooks that allow some freedom of development by players. The October mod-prompts were a great example.

ABOUT YOU: Hello! I'm from the UK and my Plurk is RP related. Fandoms are Clair Obscur, DC, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Metaphor: Refantazio and World of Warcraft. I've a background in visual and performing arts. Classically trained vocalist, pianist, and flautist. I love pretty much anything that deals with the arts.

My taste in video games is kind of all over the place—Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Shadow Hearts, Tekken, Drakengard, Lunar, Chrono Trigger / Cross, Xenogears, Silent Hill, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Dynasty Warriors, etc., and so on, and so forth.

I work from home and I tag generally whenever I have the time. Sometimes during the day. Sometimes in the evening. Really depends on my schedule.

CHARACTER: Jonathan Crane

CHARACTER INFO: Crane is a polite and reserved intellectual whose sadistic nature hides behind a civil exterior. His authority as chief of psychiatry allowed him to terrify his patients and hide his involvement in crime. His expert testimony shielded gangsters from prison and was well regarded in legal circles. He is a brilliant scientist who loves the thrill of research. He just happens to get his kicks by experimenting on people without their consent. Because he is who he is, please check his permissions and contact me if you have questions.

WANTED CR: Crane has been in Etraya for a while, keeping a low profile while offering therapy to those in need. He operates on a small and intimate scale when nobody is around to enable him. He will take an interest in forging relationships for business and maintaining his reputation. The theme I am exploring is what Crane does removed from Gotham. Does he indulge in crime and manipulation or be functional in society? Are there people to keep him on the straight and narrow? I want to explore who he is beneath the mask. Crane is the mask he wears, Scarecrow is the man behind it. I love exploring the psychology of that.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: My preference is for character and psychological drama, which goes hand in glove with a character who has studied the mind and human behaviour. When missions are involved, Crane works well with mysteries and events that lean less towards action. But my taste leans towards whatever feeds character growth and the overall plot. Crane leans heavily into horror themes already so having him here is more to do with personal and psychological exploration and development. I wasn't active as much with him with the last event due to RL health but I hope to get into the swing of things.

ABOUT YOU: Would it shock you to know I like my TTRPGs?

CHARACTER: Aliarra Landsritter (D&D 3.5 OC)
CHARACTER INFO: A hero, a legend, a champion; Aliarra and her party defeated a terrible evil and reassembled the high god of magic rather than let his power fall into the wrong hands. That was 20 years ago, so what has she done since then? Two decades of failing on her hunt for the final opponent so she could finish the job has taken its toll, and she's a grumpy and cynical hero nowadays who nonetheless does all she can to stick to that heroic role.
WANTED CR: Friends, particularly ones that she can open up to (good luck). People she can teach, train, and leave a legacy with. People who are vastly different, so she can mentally gnaw at the differences.

CHARACTER: Accelerator, from A Certain Magical Index
CHARACTER INFO: Accelerator is a teenage artificial esper, which essentially means he's a scientific guinea pig who was given superpowers. He's the strongest esper in the series with the ability of vector manipulation AKA he can control anything as long as he can conceptualize vectors for it. This includes energy and magic from other universes, and can get abstract as hell because he's an absurd supergenius.

He has had a rough life and oh boy, does it show! He's abrasive and a jerk, and curses constantly. He's distrustful of adults due to most adults in his life being horrific monsters, which forced him to grow up really fast. Currently, he is a convicted felon in prison for having murdered over ten thousand clone girls (among other crimes) while simultaneously in charge of a city of 2.3 million, 1.8 million of whom are minors. He's trying to do his best but it's hard, okay.
WANTED CR: Science nerds! People who want their adult characters to get dunked on by a teen! Sleipnir re-traumatized him a little this past mission and now that everyone is back on Etraya Accy can talk about it, so I'd love to deal with that in some way.
PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I really want him to get back to the Echo diary entries and any fallout from solving them! He's been in the game a long time, so getting confirmation that Echo is not lying about the universe saving stuff would be great. Especially since that proof is basically a huge math formula, that's right up his alley so now that the mission is over I'm planning on having him get back into being invested in it.

CHARACTER: Aerith Gainsborough - Final Fantasy VII: Remake / Rebirth Continuity

Aerith is a lot of things. Self-sacrificing, street savvy, selfless, altruistic. These are all apt descriptors. She is the sort likely to carry burdens herself and not to impose on others. She carries a humorous, optimistic, and largely cheerful disposition, though it's debatable how much of that comes from feeling that she has to for the sake of those around her and how much of it is natural and a genuine feeling. She can be very secretive and often is not inclined to share personal feelings or information about herself. She is the type of character who lives through others.

WANTED CR:
I'm very open when it comes to CR types. I like every shade provided it fits the occasion and the circumstance. This means, putting Aerith against characters who may be more aloof or closed off. It also means playing her with characters who might be a little more aligned with how she is. My only real rule of thumb is communication on anything that seems unclear.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
I like enigmatic elements and I really appreciate the notion of people working together to achieve end goals. Events that explore dynamics and connections between characters and situations I think are really great. I've enjoyed the fae court event and understand it was a special situation, but it was a great welcome to the game and the premise.

Since before that specific strip published and to the point of having a pair of journals from it, indeed. I've quoted that one joke enough the rest of my table knows it, despite never having read a word otherwise.

God, I forget when I started... I know it was before they went to Azure City. So A While. And I definitely have some of the books ~

CHARACTER: Hob Gadling (The Sandman: Netflix)
CHARACTER INFO: Hob is my oldest child on this game and has been around for 1.5 years. He is also getting a canon update! Upon return from the fairy realm, Hob will disappear from the game for 1 week and return with a new look post-Season 2 of Netflix's The Sandman. This means he's pretty sad due to a period of grieving with the loss of a couple of meaningful people in his life, but in true Hob fashion, he'll rebound and keep on living. Not many will probably realize Hob is even gone (except his partner Loki), since he kind of keeps to himself, but he's super friendly and a nice guy, so get to know him! On the more secretive side, he's actually an immortal. He is human, but he was granted immortality by Death of the Endless and became friends with the King of Dreams. He's so very average, otherwise!
WANTED CR: Hob is my low-key slice-of-life boy on the game, but he's very good with people and makes a great friend. He's also quite kind, especially to children, having been a father once, himself.

Welp, you made me remember something I hadn't thought of in a long time, and I had to dig it up.

Accy will not hesitate to call Viktor out on any and all boomer behaviour, because he's a jerk like that.

CHARACTER: Renoir Dessendre | Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

CHARACTER INFO: Renoir is a stern and authoritative man whose unwavering love for family defines his direction and purpose. His presence commands attention but beneath this is a father burdened by pain and the fear of loss. His interactions reveal an introvert whose problems are private burdens. He acts not for approval but to fulfil personal convictions. He is an emphatic and emotional painter cursed to be moody like all artists.

WANTED CR: I am looking to challenge his understanding of love because his love is sincere and suffocating. Characters who might call out his destructive tendencies might be interesting. Others might see his grief and emphasise. I would love him to encounter people whose morality clashes with his brutality. Philosophical exchanges about existence and art would be interesting too! Themes involving existentialism and family dynamics are something I would love to explore. People who know Verso will draw his attention, and depending who they are, he might approach them directly. Feel free to touch base should anything come to mind.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Aurora being vague about whether he can save his world would be interesting to sink my teeth into! The nature of his canon means it might not be possible. Given this ties into protecting his family, learning the truth would be nice since either path gives him something to progress and allows me to plan on an ooc level. My preference is for character and psychological drama that leads to exploration. When missions are involved, my taste leans towards whatever feeds my preferences and the overall plot.

CHARACTER INFO: If Gustave were a Spice Girl, he would be Nerdy Spice. He's a kind-hearted engineer who is focused on his family, friends, and trying to save his world. Gustave does come with spoilers for E33, so please let me know if you're trying to avoid spoilers!

WANTED CR: Friends, sparring partners, field trip buddies, other nerdy/science-oriented characters, characters who can expand his horizons in softer disciplines like art & music. Romance??? would be fun but a definite slowburn for this reserved guy. I'd especially love to expand his crosscanon cr, so will be focusing on that for the next few months.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I would love for Gustave to be able to explore the world more! He's very focused on the missions in order to save his world, but he loves to explore and learn, so plots/missions where he can go on an adventure are excellent.

ABOUT YOU: I'm terrible with intros and in too many fandoms to name/count; always open to watching/starting new canons, etc. My timezone is PST with tagging speed varying a lot due to work but I pretty much backtag into forever.

CHARACTER: Octavia Blake (The 100)
CHARACTER INFO: Octavia was born on a space station where having a second child was a crime punishable by death in which she lived in secrecy and isolation during her formative years, with her only social interaction being with her mother and her older brother, Bellamy. After being discovered, her mother floated (tossed out of an airlock) for the crime of having her, she was locked up for almost a year before being sent down to post apocalyptic Earth to make sure it wasn't still totally radiated and uninhabitable and of course they learn the planet itself was brimming with new threats. She's a badass warrior who looks like she is ready to fight at any given moment but underneath it all does have a softer side to her once you're her friend. She loves mythology, stabbing shit with her sword and horseback riding (she can be seen around probably riding her horse Helios!!)

WANTED CR: Everything!! Octavia is a little rough around the edges but I am down for literally any and all types of CR! I would love for her to make some friends, enemies, mentors, people who know what it's like to have a sibling??, people to adopt her, some sparring buddies/mentors or whatever else.

She has been in game since the very beginning, currently squatting and hording stuff in her apartment but she pretty much lives/camps outside in the Dropship because it's basically a place from her home.

She is kind of conflicted about being here/trusting it and doesn't think she is suited to save her world from being destroyed because really who thought it was a good idea to choose her for this? but she is fully taking advantage of what she can with all the food, clothing and other modern conveniences this places has, it's a huge upgrade from being stuck in an underground bunker.

PLOTS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I am here for all of it. I love a good mix of horror, mystery, slice of life and exploration but I really would love to have her involved in more stuff about this place and learning more about Echo and how much truth there is behind all this.
